The school had just finished classes for the day, which caused the corridors to be filled with students but young and old leaving their respected classrooms and heading towards the canteen for dinner. Mystique was just leaving his classroom, as his appearance changed from his flesh colour skin to his original blue scaly skin as he entered the corridor. He was carrying a pile of paperwork under his left arm, he had planned on heading up to his room before dinner, that was until he was close to the entrance and heard the voice which tones stuck in his head and knew who it was right away.
Almost at auto-pilot, Mystique moved through the crowd of students and headed towards the entrance where he was greeted by the sight of Magneto standing before him. It had been a long while since he had even heard of him, let along set eyes on him in the flesh. He stood there, almost fixed to the point on the floor and just starred at him for a few moments in silence before finally speaking. “You have to carry your own belongings, this isn’t a hotel.” Mystique said trying to sound her cocky tone but was clear Magneto presence was having an affect on him.
Max smiled slightly, amused. He hadn’t seen Raven in a long time, and was almost surprised to see him here at the school. But then again, it could always be said that the only thing you could expect from Raven Darkholme, was the unexpected. He shrugged and looked down at the bags by his feet. Without barely even a thought, they began floating in the air, as if held by invisible bellhops. “I don’t see how that will be an issue, my dear,” he replied calmly, and looked around. “But it would help to know where I should bring them to?”
He chuckled, and then stepped forward, offering his hand to Raven. It could be a mistake to assume that they were still the allies as they’d been in the past, but Max was confident that his former teammate and practical right-hand man, wouldn’t do anything to put the children around them in any danger. “Raven Darkholme,” he said, a kind tone to his voice. “It’s been too long.”
