Haven't been doing much art the past week (or two, or three?), and it's been making me feel completely terrible. Almost like Howl when his hair got dyed the wrong shade. I feel like i completely forgot how tp do anything artistic.

Went for a walk at a somewhat local mall that's pretty empty and thought of how eerie it looked, so decided to make the photos look more backrooms-esque, lol.

The first painting I've done in my little collection of small (at least so far) paintings I'm trying to do before the next semester starts. Probably my favorite among the three so far.

A painting done earlier this month, which is actually number two of several I hope to do before my fall semester starts. Third was posted earlier (pizza metro, lol). I'll post the first soon and then just try to keep momentum. If anyone wants to drop any ideas for a painting, feel free!

I keep taking time away from my bigger painting to do other things. Like play Star Wars: Outlaws, or doing small things like this.

Some more progress on the painting that was supposed to just be a quick practice with watermixable oils. (I love it though.)

Decided to try water-mixable oils and I have to say that so far, I prefer regular oil paints but going to keep working on this and see what happens.

A project meant to practice and better understand rendering different textures (I wouldn't mind some polite critique to improve). Gouache on cold-pressed paper. 15x10.
