You just get to hang out here where none of that is gonna bother you.” MC floats around happily. “Yeah. And, and, you have your own tv in here. You can watch all the Christmas movies you want and don’t have to worry about anyone else’s preferences.”

-scoffs- Like any of that matters.

“Addie, I’m trying here. Can’t you at least try too?”

-shrugs- I’ve tried, and it didn’t work.

"Try harder, Addie! It's Christmas for goodness sake!"

MC sinks down slightly. “Things’ll get better, I promise.”

Well, I hope so. I don’t think things can get much worse from here. Being stuck alone in a hospital on your favorite holiday isn’t exactly the greatest feeling.

-curls up- How else am I supposed to think of it?

I wouldn’t be too sure. I bet no one even noticed I’m gone, so I don’t think I’ll exactly have any visitors.
