Started making props for a ttrpg campaign for the first time in ages! I haven't made any in years, and they were digital ones bc it was during lockdown. This time, they are physical!!! Very excited, but I'm not gonna post them till after the players get them. :p

I just remembered I hadn't posted my first prop yet! The reaction from my players was very fun :>

This letter was left on the seat of Khalina Alabescu's personal carriage when she returned from a ballgown fitting with her sister. The paper was scented with lemon oil, which smelled oddly familiar to the diplomat, though she could not place why.

The letter reads: Step lightly, sister of Ill Thorn. Your starlight is lovely, yet fiercer flames have been stolen from your mother. Spin not too loosely, lest the Serpent pass your web undetected.

When held up to a dancing light, a secret message was revealed in invisible ink. A popular method among Khalina's homeland of the Kryn Dynasty for private messages.

Rotten Roots is written in the top right corner. The word 'sister' is circled, and 'flames', 'stolen from your mother', 'Serpent' and 'undetected' are all underlined. SEEK NOT KIN BLOOD is written below the visible message, next to a strang symbol. An empty dimond shape with stylized eyes extending from each corner and three vertical lines from the sides of the diamond between each.
