#For a long time I wondered how you would go about writing lyrics to Kokoro's theme #And I never ended up trying.#But then I heard an awesome arrangement by diao ye zong/RD-sounds #In the arrangement Kokoro is doing a noh performance about the HM cast #This is the performance in FS written by Mamizou called “Shinkirou”#My lyrics will never match up to full-blown circles with their own backing tracks and what have you #But I wanted to give the “acting out the parts” a try #Anyone who knows me knows I love flooding my lyrics with references #Cameo characters especially. Go find my Kingdom of Nothingness teaser.#Anyway in my version Kokoro comments on each character's last word #And then in the second half she acts out them answering it #“Tell me - what's 3D?” > “New technology”#“Drum you tanuki” > “To infinity”#Etc. It's just that kinda stuff I like. Maybe someday you'll be able to hear it.#touhou #hata no kokoro

#If you're wondering why Maribel has yellow eyes despite me pointing out in my breakdown of her and Yukari the difference is pretty simple #I like to lean into Maribel's inconsistent eye colors throughout the CDs #In GFC she has purple eyes. In CoSD she has red eyes. In MA she has yellow eyes. In UFMJ she has brown eyes.#In DLFR and DBOA she has yellow eyes. In RCS she also has yellow eyes.#Technically in TGA she has yellow eyes but the filter makes them look greenish so I like to draw TGA Merry with green eyes.#In R53M and NToJ and the newest TJD you can't see Maribel's eyes so I'd draw them purple #Or maybe something like brown for R53M purple for NToJ and yellow for TJD #Or for NToJ maybe even... blue?#Hmm #Anyway this drawing is based off of DBOA where she has yellow eyes.#touhou #maribel hearn #renko usami

#I really like Rikako #The idea that there is a character whose magical prowess is on the level of gods...#But she chooses to nerf herself because she likes science more #It's incredibly ironic and very funny #ZUN should bring back Rikako #Yumemi is alright too. I don't like her as much as Rikako #But these two really do contrast each other so well #Red and purple are opposite sides of the color spectrum #I'm sure I've talked about that before #Ultraviolet and infrared #Then of course the description of this picture #I know everyone associates Yumemi with Chiyuri and for good reason #Teacher and pupil with canon interactions #But I think it's more apt to associate Yumemi with Rikako #touhou #rikako asakura #yumemi okazaki #Rikako doesn't have a popular tag this is so tragic.
