I used to think it was to become better at everything, solve everyone's problems, and "be perfect".

Needless to say that did not turn out well.

But I've been thinking, and the truth is, none of us, not a single person on this planet, asked for the life we have.

It is a beautiful gift, but it often carries hardships.

Because of this, I think that the two things that can give our lives meaning are being kind to each other, and creating what we love.

None of us know where we came from or where we're going, so the most important thing we can do to make this journey easier is kindness. And some of us get too caught up in the destination, rather than focusing on the journey: we don't know where we're going, so we might as well enjoy the process.
