Can we please take a second to give the OB crew, Jessalyn, Tatiana and presumably Kathryn or whomever the body double was a huge hand for this scene? I didn’t even notice how impossible it actually is until a gifset made me notice. Then I had to watch it again…and again…and again.

Cosima takes the tool from her hand and then gives her another, while Evie’s other hand remains positioned over Sarah’s mouth. Where often clone touches are Orphan Black’s visual dazzling factor, the trick is ripened by bringing secondary onscreen parties into the effect. The physical boundaries that the shows effects seek to seamlessly blend are further destroyed by making Tatiana’s characters physically tangible not merely to “another Tatiana”, but to an entirely different person.
