Youâre probably forgotten by now,
when sorrow fell heavily on your shoulders.
But we were holding onto the hands of the starsâŚ
  Several and fast steps giving a huge noise against the street. He was running, he was desperately running.  Tears dropping down his childish and cute face.
Is up there really something that can hold all of us together?
And if thereâs not such a thing⌠then what?
The night was cold and calm. There wasnât more than him and the stars glimmering in the night sky. But he was blinded. Though he knew where to go⌠When you feel that nothing makes sense, then you must go look for a place to be, isnât it? A place where you can be peace and calm. A place where you can be âaloneâ.
Even though the stars donât know your name
you can see their radiance shining,
even from hereâŚ
The city was slowly changing in front of his eyes. Slowly taking him far away from everything. He was tired of running, but it wasnât enough yet. He finally arrived to âhisâ place. But huge was his surprise when he saw another boy, older than him sitting on the floor. His glare up on the sky. He stopped.
âWho⌠âHe mumbled for himself, confused. There was not anyone in that place the other times. At least not in times like this.
Breathing hardly due to the run, he looked how the guy slowly turned out to him. And, after a few seconds, he smiled kindly but tired. He seemed to have arrived the place the same way the junior kid did.
What was it?
The tears stop⌠you start to dream again
As the elder returned his glare to the sky, he did the same. The universe met with his eyes. Was it always there? Was it always this beautiful? He thought, as the night light mixed with his own bright. His own light behind his eyes. As it was how it was supposed to be. Cause it was always there, just a bit unclear.
When he turned around, the kid beside him was gone. And instead of him there was a man looking hopefully the stars, a soft smile in his lips.
âSo⌠weâve come this far, donât we?â He said.
âYeahâŚâ He smiled too.
And his voice wasnât a child voice anymore, nor himself. And he wasnât alone anymore, no one of them. Cause the stars have connected them, cause they connect us all. Up there, is an entire world. 88âs story is floating. Theyâre telling our stories, our happiest and our saddest ones. We donât have to be afraid, weâre not alone.
No matter if itâs a long trip to become what we want to be. There will always be hope, there will always be someone for you. Even if they are kilometers away from you, in another city, in another country. Cause after all, weâre all part of the same thing, isnât it? Â The miracle of living under the same stars will always be there for us.
âAnd weâll go even furtherâŚâHe added, a huge smile shining in his face.
