Evaluation of overall project
Overall, I am pleased with how my project has turned out since I have produced a full publication that explored my intended subject. I think that I have investigated my topic of surrealism well through this project. As with the photography that I have produced, I feel as if it explores different ways in which surrealism can be seen and depicted through photography. Due to how I have aimed to manipulate and display my subjects in various different manners.
Although, with my photography, I do feel as though I could have explored and pushed what I could have produced further. By possibly being more creative with my sets or the overall subject matter. As for some of my imagery, I did feel as though they could have appeared more imaginative or dreamlike in order to link fully with my overall surrealist theme. Although this was difficult to achieve as for some of my photoshoots since I had found this challenging to depict and execute well.
In addition to my actual photoshoots, I have also explored the use of photoshop and illustrator further than in my previous projects, in order to see how this could be effective in manipulating my imagery. I feel as though I have achieved this well as by incorporating these applications into my work it added a lot to my photography. Which as a result, has made them have more of an intriguing appearance overall, while also allowing me to link them to a specific concept I had or to my topic or surrealism.
