The scene in the Magnus archives that I think shows how human Jon is compared to Elias would have to be when he burns Gerry’s page. It clearly hurts him to burn it, it hurts him to destroy all this knowledge, the same way Martin burning the statement hurt Elias. The difference between the two is that Elias hurts others to stop his own pain, Jon hurt himself to stop Gerry’s pain.
