Synopsis: a high school girl obsessed with her cat, games and chocolates gets tricked into taking part in some crazy, weird magic dating simulator by a wizard mascot that pops out of the universe's ass. The wizard mascot tells her that this project was created in order to increase japan's dropping birth rate numbers by providing means for people like her who are hopeless in the romance department so they can find partners and true love.

Mind you the MC is very much not fond of the idea and refuses, but the little weird wizard mascot takes all her games, chocolates and her cat away, and sends her parents away to work in America, because anime logic is flawless and we do not question it. So, seeing as how she isn't going to get rid of the mascot nor can she get the things she wants back, she accepts her fate, yet remains absolutely determined to curb any and all men that try to romance her.

Well, as you can imagine, it goes sideways. The hot guy, the sporty guy, and the rich spoiled guy all appear, and two of them under suspicious circumstances end up living with her. However, unlike what you would expect, she does not cave. While admitting they are hella handsome fellas (I mean, the girl has eyes) she refuses to date them and keeps them at an arms length romance wise. Great friends tho! They learn about each other and grow in a wholesome way.

Above all this girl is an amazing friend, completely dedicated and willing to go long ways to protect those she cares for. The romantic interests all have their background stories that are incredibly interesting, and throughout the entire anime a light, fun atmosphere is held. If you squint you came ven see a gay plotline covered up as friendship. If you squint even harder you can see it as one big unlabeled poly relationship, which tickles my fancy very much. As all romance animes it has it's cliché's, but it is still quite refreshing and I highly recommend it to anyone in the mood for a good laugh, feeling giddy and experiencing butterflies in their stomach.

I do wish to have a small disclaimer that the last 2 to 3 episodes of the anime take a slightly darker turn and deal with bsessive stalking and violence, so do be cautious!
