The last few days been stressful so gotta bakudeku 😌

So I am still working on the full lineup of all Six of the Crow kids together but Matthias was all done and he looked so perdy I felt like just throwing him up by himself. Also I got super melancholy working on him oh man. Poor kid. I debated a lot about whether to draw him with his long hair from the flashbacks or after it’s all been chopped off but I had to go with the latter. EDIT: Added his name. :)

Next portrait is done! My girl Nina. I can’t wait to see them all together. I edited Matthias to have his name too. Each portrait takes long enough that I might as well just keep throwing them up as I finish them. 

This one took a lot longer than it really should have. Mostly because of the awkward angle of her face and my indecision regarding the hood. But anyhow it’s done. Not my favorite portrait but she’s my favorite Crow. :) That means with three down the final piece is officially halfway done. Kaz is next!

I know I picked a somewhat predictable reference photo if you glance in the tag longer than ten seconds but honestly I’ve never seen anyone that looks just as I picture him but that might be because I don’t even know how exactly I picture him. This dude comes the closest though so far. So here’s my murderous son with his silly haircut looking very Done,

Had to take a little break after Kaz and Inej. Here’s Jes, the only one that doesn’t look like he’s judging you. Or maybe he looks like he’s laughing at you a little bit so maybe he is judging you.

Finally we have our sixth crow, Wylan van Sunshine. All that’s left to do now is throw them all together so they can judge you in unison. I love my murder kids.

So here is Kaz fighting like a whole gang by himself like an idiot. Or at least part of it- I did not have the stamina to draw him fighting the first six dudes and I really needed to draw the iconic bloody smile at the end (and bloodthirsty Inej). It probably shouldn’t have taken like three months but picked a bad time to start it, with family and holidays and getting laid off and job hunting so it was hard to find the time and motivation. Also I picked like the most painful scene in the book to try and draw honestly. I’m never going to try and draw a fight scene ever again. Or stairs. Or anything. Also for the millionth time i goddamn hate how tumblr shrinks images.
