Be who you are and say what you feel

there is this girl in my program who is extremely negative. she has a rude comment to say about everything and anything. i have never heard her say how something has benefited her. its all bad in her world; the sky is always falling. she can't take criticism from anyone.. not even when its constructive and will benefit her. at first i was letting this get to me but now i've come to a few realizations. i'm not going to dislike her for this or be annoyed by it, i am going to use it as something to learn from. i see how unapproachable her negative attitude is and i do not want to be like this. instead of sitting there criticizing her (that would make me as bad as she is) i am just going to change my ways so i do not act like her. i do not want people to view me as a negative person who always has something bad to say. i want bigger and better things.
