It’s starting to get really old isn’t it? People hating on Bin Weevils. Now for a long time, I’ve stayed out of even trying to state my opinion. But now, it’s time for you to know what I think, so these haters can change their minds, and actually show some respect for a team that I know work really hard to being us Bin Weevils, and now Snakes In Space, Pirates Vs The Deep, and…

The time is upon us! The team have 55Pixels have started releasing their new games!

The first, is available on iPad via the App store, is called Snakes in Space!

Snakes in Space is like the game ‘Snakes’ from old Nokia phones. You’re a snake, and when you eat something, you get longer. If your head touches any other part of your body, it’s game over! Loads of new characters have been introduced, including Alan Legstrong, Cousin Swaggy, Derple, Dave the Dragon, and Mr. Z. Ombie.

This one is definetly following on from the style they created with Bin Weevils. It ties in quite well with BW and WW because of the art style, and also it’s theme.

The next game is called Pirates Vs The Deep, and is available on Android via the Google Play Store.

Pirates Vs The Deep is a strategy game. From what I can tell, you have to defend your pirate ship from skeletons that are trying to attack!

The one thing very disappointing about these games is that people in the UK cannot play them. They’re launching them in Australia, Ireland and Canada as early access. It should be available everywhere else soon!

Both these games being done leads us to believe that Weevil World’s launch is imminent! We can’t wait! Hopefully it’ll be available everywhere at launch!

The day is almost upon us. It’s almost time for the new version of Rigg’s Movie Muliplex!

The old Rigg’s Movie Muliplex, formerly Rigg’s Palladium, will always have a place in my heart. If you go back to the first post on the Bin Weevils blog, I commented with this story… But here’s a rewritten version.

It was the start of May. After months of speculation and team videos leaked by Clott, the day was upon us. The new Binscape was coming tomorrow. Bin Weevils was to close at 5PM today, so I logged into have a final view of  the Bin. I went to Riggs – which at the time streamed LOADS of shows for free. And for the first – and only – time in the old Bin, I saw Scribbles and Big Weevil! They said that BW would be closing soon, and went in side of Riggs. I went inside, but in mid-load of the room, I was logged out, to see the maintenance screen.

That’s why Rigg’s is special for me. It’s the final place in the old Bin that I saw, and also, it was the first place I saw Scribbles and Big Weevil. Within the next few hours, Riggs will be demolished, and rebuilt as a brand new and modern area.

The new Rigg’s is going to be an amazing update! It’s been the same since BW opened, so it’s time for a change. It’s going to show news shows, which will be awesome!

55 Pixels Game Announcement NEXT WEEK!

It’s been almost a year since we found out about Weevil World and the re-brand from Bin Weevils Limited to 55Pixels, but we’ve barely had any news at all. That’s soon to change.
