Have Fun.. 😘

“Stop laughing at me”, she complains below me, as she gets suddenly wetter. At that moment I can go two ways. I can just stay the course - go with it - make it seem like I am degrading her with my laughter. That works for her. That works for me too - but that’s not why I’m really laughing.

I’m laughing because I am having the time of my life in that moment. I’m laughing because my dynamic with her is something that fulfills me and completes me in a way that relationships never did during the first 45 years I walked on the world. I’m laughing because I have found a piece of myself that I never knew was missing, and she allows me to explore and express it. I’m laughing at all the incredible possibilities and choices she offers me every day, that I am taking full advantage of in that moment. I’m laughing because I cannot choose not to laugh. I’m leaking an abundance of joy and fulfillment, and that’s how it’s coming out. 

“You’re just a silly little thing, making silly little noises, so I’m gonna laugh”, I say to her, as I grab a fistful of hair and keep going. I decided to go with it. She makes that sad whimper sound in response, that is a lie about what those words are actually doing to her, and my inner happy starts to refill, until I cannot help but laugh again.
