to be alone with you // mackendall
A small smile crept up onto Kendall’s lips as he made his way into Mack’s apartment, immediately being greeted by his dog, which made the corners of Kendall’s lips tug up just a tiny bit more. He was surprising his boyfriend with a home-cooked meal for their two month anniversary, knowing that he wouldn’t be home for another few hours. As he got everything ready to cook, he couldn’t help but think about how surreal it was that they had already been together for two months. Being with Mack was even more amazing — albeit frustrating at times — than Kendall would’ve ever imagined. He was slowly becoming less cynical the longer they were together, though the whole thing still terrified him. He had strong feelings for Mack, though, and he hoped that his surprise would show his boyfriend that he cared.
Two months went by fast, especially when you're happy. That was definitely the case with Mack. After months and months of him chasing and hounding Kendall, he finally seceded and agreed to being with him. At first, Mack couldn't believe it. Was he really saying yes? Yes to being with him, as in being in a relationship? There was only a quick moment of hesitation on Mack's part, before he agreed. Who was he to question the younger boy's decision? Especially when he could and probably would change his mind at any given moment. Humming softly as he trudged up the stairs to his apartment, Mack let out a sigh. He had spent the whole day out; first in class, then at his first job. Living on your own while you were still in school wasn't easy, but he made it work, definitely. Opening the front door, he frowned slightly when he heard movement coming from the kitchen and the smell of food hit his nose. "Um.." he mumbled, setting down his keys and stepping into the kitchen, his brow furrowing in confusion. "What's this?"
