So I'm basically not on this blog anymore. Any new follows I pulled off are on/connected to my new blog @rayman-rewritten. Thank you for everything.

Again any follows from this blog are meant to be from @rayman-rewritten, but I cannot change it unless I delete my entire account and start from scratch, which I don't want to do and it would take forever even if I were to export everything.

I wish Tumblr had a feature that allowed me to change primary blogs just ONCE and this problem wouldn't be happening. If there is a way, then let me know on the new blog.

I often wonder if the Spamton plush was supposed to release on September 17th or 22nd, but instead it will release on Sept 13th. Maybe they moved the date up for a reason?

Apparently Toby Fox annually does update videos on Undertale and Deltarune on their anniversaries? Since it should be coming soon I would like to know more of his thoughts on Spamton and how the fandom treats him versus what his original intents were for the character. The fandom seems to love him at large, but he might say some things about Spamton that go against the fandom’s perspective of him and that might cause a stir. I’m all for him debunking things and setting the record straight, but I am also worried.

I expect the Deltarune fandom to be slightly more mature than what the Undertale fandom used to be like when it comes to confirmations, but there’s always a bit of a worry. Spamton has exploded in popularity in a way Toby never expected.

And I’m curious too, what his intentions were versus what all of our interpretations were, and whether they’re wrong, right, or a little bit of both.

Toby himself likes Spamton, in a Japanese interview I think he even compares his relationship with Spamton to Andy and Woody from Toy Story, especially at the end of the third movie where Andy gives away his toys, alluding to how he “gave” Spamton to the players. I might be remembering it wrong but it was something to that effect. So yes, I would love to know what he thinks.
