argentina, my country, has been going through extremely bad bushfires for a couple of months now and i’d like to help our fire brigades now that a means to donate opened up!

as promised, the screenshots proving my donation to fundación bomberos de argentina, the argentine firefighter organization helping with the bushfires in my country rn! the total amount donated was 13,000 ARS!

because i want to be as transparent as possible since this involved converting money into another currency and most of the info is in spanish, here’s a quick rundown:

first screenshot: thank-you email from the organization

second screenshot: net amount collected from commissioners (126.21 USD)

third screenshot: resulting amount from conversion to ARS at an exchange rate of 1 USD = 107 ARS minus fees and vat (12,986.58 ARS)

i rounded up the number to 13k so it would be an even number!
