Amelia pauses to look around the room. She smiles, almost sheepishly, then locks eyes with the woman again. “No offense or nothing, but it don’t really look like you’ve got anyone else here who knows how to do that kinda stuff.”

She snaps, once, in the direction of one of her girls- Sandy, and nods her head in the direction of the woman at the bar, who’s now pulled out a cap and aiming it at one of the House’s more high profile clients. Sandy nods and glides over to the bar, situating herself between the woman and the slumbering man. Max watches closely as Sandy closes a hand around the other woman’s, shaking her head. “Trust me, honey, you don’t wanna do that. He gets awful peeved when you disturb his beauty sleep.”

“I, um- do you work here, by chance? I’m looking for the owner. Or- well, someone in charge, I guess.” Amelia pauses to wipe her palms on her pants and stand up. She’s generally small, but she figures she can at least give herself some height. That usually helps people take her more seriously. “I’m lookin’ for a job. If you might have one.”
