[Text ID: Where to begin? Have you ever thought about the violence you commit against yourself? Are you aware of the full extent of it? What violence? I do not mean (just the) physical. I do not mean (just the) way you punish your body. I mean (also) the violent thoughts. The violent feelings. I mean the nights you ache, wishing you were different, better, somebody else. I mean the days you spend in front of the mirror, harbouring such loathing you can barely bear to look at yourself. That too, is violence. I mean the visceral way you cringe when you hear yourself on video. The wryness in your voice when you speak about your younger self - filled with such shame, embarrassment, contempt. You are not who you used to be. But who you were, made you who you are. And violence one step removed is still violence. Violent is the way you deny yourself love, the way you predict the worst case scenario in the name of self-preservation. The hope-zapping internal dialogue. What did you think? That things would be different this time? Don’t you know yourself? How often are you violent against yourself? Does it horrify you? Can you stop? Do you want to? i hate it when people ask me “what are your interests in life?” dude i have no idea. i cannot explain. i'm not a person. i'm a collection of miracles, bound together by both sunlight and darkness. i'm also much more than that; i am a story, a home, a wolf that howls in the night. i'm the comet streaking through the sky on the way to do good and bright things.

sometimes i just wanna be one of those renaissance girls from the paintings with all my friends and our titties are out and we’re in the water and its summer and if my friend kisses me, she kisses me you know? no big deal! we could have a wedding right here in this lake with our titties out girl, i love you

i wish life was kinder and everything was softer, like my dreams

i am so determined to fall more in love with life. intentionally romanticising the walks i am on, the birds chirping, the blooming nature around me, the water in my cup of tea turning from a light peach tone to a dark pink, the poetry i write, the things i am learning, my handwriting, dozing off while sitting in front of my window, all of it and more. I have to take a closer look at the little things that make my heart beat faster.

u know whats wild. everyone on here like 20 and when i first joined everyone was like 14 15. u ask anybody n they been here for years. nobody new on here. staff locked the doors n were all Stuck Inside
