So it's been a while.
And I apologize for that. It's been hard for me to get around the librarians to type up something, but I've learned their schedules now. For instance, right now, they are having a coffee break, due to the fact that no one is in the library at eight-thirty in the morning.
Anyways, my life is still going pretty good. I've read quite a few books now that I'm spending most of my time in the library. I highly recommend Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code series, or the Pendergast series by Douglas Preston, although I've only read two of the latter.Â
Also, because sometimes I like to mix it up every now and again, some other titles I enjoyed are The Mysterious Benedict Society series by Trenton Lee Stewart, and the Leven Thumps series by Obert Skye. Yes, I realize these could be considered children's books. No, I do not care. They're really good.Â
Aside from reading, I've had a couple more movie nights with the Old Lady, even though it's not just us now. Her grandkids came over with their favorite disney movies and we watched those. It was weird because I sang along to every song in The Little Mermaid, and I don't remember ever watching that. I guess I must have watched it a lot when I was alive, and my mouth just remembered the words? Weird.Â
Anyways, construction still goes on in my house, which sucks because it made me miss Halloween. Halloween's awesome, and my favorite holiday, and I didn't get to do anything for it this year because of frikin construction on my house. I heard someone talking, and they said the project is only supposed to last six months( which is surprising because my house is a wreck), so I hope that means it will be done soon.
Wilfred is also doing very well, although I'll probably have to move him inside soon because it's getting pretty cold and I don't want him to die. He is flourishing inside his new pot though, and looks very happy.Â
So that's about all that I have for now. Any good books you guys can recommend to me?
How are you and Wilfred doing?
Oh dear lord, I haven't updated this in a while, have I? I promise to do that soon. For now, the answer to your question; we're doing great. The library has been a great place for me to hang out during the day, and Wilfred is doing very well outside. I think he's an outdoor plant more than an indoor plant. He almost got stepped on the other day, but I managed to save him in time.
Anyways, I'll write more about what's been going on in my life soon. Thanks for the question! Â
Why don't you just relocate to the library? Wouldn't it be easier that way?
At this point, it’s stubbornness that drives me. It’s my house, dangit, and I’m staying in it!  Plus, who would look after Wilfred if I left? He’s a growing plant, and being inside a library all the time wouldn’t be good for him.Â
So first off, I would just like to apologize for not writing in a while. Renovations are still underway at my house, and the Old Lady's kids have been coming over more than ever. And then one day the construction workers accidentally cut the hard line for the internet, so that was troublesome too. But don't worry, for I have come up with a solution that I can't believe I didn't think of earlier.
The Library.Â
I have now located the nearest public library, and so hopefully I can write more. It will be nice to get away from all the construction noises, although it will be tricky to use the computer when I can't be seen.Â
And to those of you who are worried about me burning in the daylight as I attempt to get to the library, don't be, I've got it covered. I can either get there early when the suns not out, or I can just take an underground route to get there. And by underground, I mean under the ground, not the subway. Yay ghost powers!
Anyway, I'll probably start going there tomorrow. The Old Lady had to go to the doctor this morning for a check up, so I'm using her computer right now.
And I guess that's it for now. I hope everyone is doing well!Â

OH MY GOD GUYS! So the husband of the lady who's renovating my house (which is coming along quite nicely, by the way) came by today to bring lunch over to the lady, and he had their dog with them, and guess what? GUESS FREAKING WHAT? IT WAS THE STUPID STALKER DOG FROM A FEW MONTHS BACK! THE WHOLE REASON THE FAMILY DECIDED TO RENOVATE THIS HOUSE AND POTENTIALLY LIVE IN IT WAS BECAUSE THEY SAW IT WHEN THEY CAME TO PICK UP THE STUPID DOG, AND THEY DECIDED THEY LIKED THE NEIGHBORHOOD! THANKS FOR THAT, BUDDY!
On the plus side though, because there was so many other people around, the dog didn't really pay attention to me. He did bark at me a couple times though, but the husband pulled on his leash and he stopped. So at least he's a well trained stalker dog.
As a side note, I have gotten around to learning the new families names. The moms name is Linda, and the dad is Robert, and they have three kids, two girls and one boy. They come by sometimes, so I know that he oldest is a girl named Megan, the middle child is a boy named Isaac, and the youngest, an adorable little girl of five, is named Charlotte, but they call her Lotte for short.Â
Lotte, I'm pretty sure, is adopted. One, because she's black and they're not, and two, I think I heard them say that her parents were friends of the family, and the got into an accident when Lotte was a baby, so Linda and Robert decided to take her in. Which stinks, but they're nice people, so she got lucky, at least. And she is the CUTEST LITTLE THING, OH MAH GOD, HER HAIR IS SO POOFY, AND I JUST WANT TO PET IT! I won't feel it of course, but still, she's got some rockin' hair. Â
As another side note, I got Wilfred a new pot, which I DIDN'T steal, it was sitting on the curb to be thrown away, so HA! No home depot robberies today.Â
Anyway, how are you guys doing? I'm pretty well, but I feel like I don't talk to you guys enough. Let me know how you're doing!
How are things? You've been gone quite a long while.
Hey! Sorry I haven't been around lately. What with avoiding the Old Lady's kids and grandkids, and moving my treasures to a small forgotten corner of the Old Lady's basement, there hasn't been much time to write. But the Old Lady took her grandkids to the zoo today while their parents were at work, so I have some time now.Â
I also want to apologize for my last post; I know it was pretty much a downer. But I decided I would try to take the new renovations to my house in stride, as well as the new tenants. The renovations started yesterday, and I learned that the lady heading them is actually one of the new residents, along with her husband and three kids. She talks a lot about her kids, which is good, because it means she cares. However, the kids worry me. Usually living people can't see ghosts, but the younger ones sometimes can. And if they don't take kindly to their house being haunted, then, well, they'll just have to learn to deal with it. Because I'm staying!
Also, as a side note, Wilfred is still doing well, although I think he'll need a bigger pot soon. He's safely tucked away in the garden out back, and the renovation lady said that, aside from some landscaping, the garden can stay, so yay! At least all my hard work won't be for nothing.Â
Anyway, short answer to your question; I'm doing pretty well. And I'm actually getting pretty excited to see what my old, creaky, hunk-of-junk house looks like when it's completed! So I hope everyone working does their best. I'm counting on them!
WELL HOWDY GUYS!
Remind me to never say howdy again. I sound like hick.
Anyways, it has been a long time since I last wrote to you. Much to long. A lot's been happening while I was away. For one, the Old Lady's family moved closer, so her grandkids come over a lot more often. It's been really hard to find time where they're not around so I could write. But the Old Lady is at the grocery store now, so no one's home.Â
Also, those stupid kids have come back a couple more times. It takes forever to clean up after them. Luckily I've been able to hide Wilfred, otherwise he would be one traumatized little plant.Â
Speaking of which, Wilfred is doing well, and looking rather dapper with his lovely orange flowers.Â
Anyways, I don't think I'll have to worry about the kids anymore, due to my next piece of news.Â
My house, which has laid abandoned for probably years, has been bought, and is due to have renovations done to it, starting next month.Â
I'm surprised I'm not reacting more. I think I'm still in shock. I'm actually still surprised that they even found the for sale sign in the yard. It was pretty hidden by the grass. I'm even more surprised someone saw potential in this dump.Â
I think it will hit me more when I'm packing up my stuff. I don't know what I'm going to do with all my treasures. Maybe I can hide them in the Old Lady's basement...? I don't know.
I don't want to leave this place. It's nice here. I'm used to it now. Even though the Old Lady doesn't know I'm around, I consider her my friend. I haven't had a friend ever since I've been dead. I don't want to leave my home. I haven't had a home since I've been dead either.
It's funny. Being here, having a routine, it makes it almost like I'm alive again, like I'm real. I don't want the empty feeling to come back, that reminds me every day that for all intents and purposes I don't exist, constantly working at me and wearing me down.
I don't want to feel dead again. Â
So the children finally left my house. And they left a giant mess behind.Â
Luckily I didn't have to freak them out to get them to leave, but I think my house may have become their new hang out spot.Which sucks. I hope that didn't happen.
Sigh...well, I guess I'll clean up now. At least Wilfred can keep me company.Â
Update: I hid Wilfred when the hooligans weren't looking. He will now be perfectly safe for the remainder of their...visit.
I highly dislike these children. They've only been here a couple of hours, and they've already left trash everywhere, tracked in dirt, and I'm pretty sure they are in the process of graffiti-ing several rooms in the house. That's going to take forever to clean up.
The group consists of 3 stupid boys and 1 equally stupid girl. They're all trying to act "cool" but in reality they're just being idiots. They've actually been trying to see if their weight could break a hole in one of the weaker sections of the floor. And the walls.
...Are they actually trying to break my house and kill themselves?
I would call the cops on them, but my voice doesn't carry well through phone lines. It just sounds like static. Â
So I guess I'll just deal with it for now. But they're really starting to push my buttons.Â

GUYS, I HAVE A PROBLEM!
THIS IS NOT A DRILL, I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL! THERE ARE PEOPLE, ACTUAL TEENAGE CHILDREN, IN MY HOUSE!Â
Apparently those kids I scared off the other day with the hose told their baby sitter that the house was haunted, and now they've come with a group of friends to spend the night here to see if it's true. I mean, they're not wrong, I'm haunting the place, but I just want to be left alone!Â
If I try to freak them out and get them to leave, it will just confirm their suspicions and they'll get me exorcised or something. I'm not entirely sure if exorcism actually works, but I don't want to find out. But if I don't do anything, they might just keep coming back here, and I don't want that either! Especially since this place is really very structurally unsound. Perfect for a ghost, not so much for live humans. I don't want them to test fate and then end up in the hospital because the floor gave way or something.
For now I'll just leave them alone, I guess, and hope for the best. But they better not touch Wilfred! He's a growing plant after all, and doesn't need to be disturbed by hooligans. Â
So something I didn't tell you about my garden. While I was at the Home Depot, getting seeds *cough* illegally *cough*, I noticed this one little plant with no flowers just sitting there. I felt kind of bad for it, so I took it too.
I know, I know, seeds are one thing, but stealing flowers? What was I thinking?! But it just looked so lonely, and the tag said it was the Old Lady's favorite kind of flower, so I figured no one would miss it. Once it's bloomed, I'll even give some of the flowers to the Old Lady, if that helps.Â
Anyways, I named it Wilfred. Once I figure out how to borrow the Old Lady's camera, I'll try posting pictures of him.Â
cowlover2Â answered:Â Did the old lady get any chocolate bunnies?
I'm pretty sure. Her kids and grandkids came over and they had an egg hunt. If they didn't get her any chocolate bunnies, they're terrible children.
Happy Easter Everyone!
Or should I say Hoppy Easter? I guess it doesn't really matter. I don't get candy either way. Which really sucks. I miss candy!Â
Anyways, I hope everyone had a great time, hunting eggs and eating the ears off of all the chocolate bunnies.Â
...What? Isn't that the normal thing to do?
Hey, did anyone see the lunar eclipse last night? I did. Because I can't sleep. It was around 2:00 am, and the moon looked a beautiful shade of red for a while.
...That was all I really wanted to ask. Yay astronomy!

Hello All!
As I look outside and see the downright dismal weather today (seriously, it's raining cows and hippos), I thought I would share a fact about myself.Â
I hate rain.Â
Now, let me clear this up. I love storms; I love the sound of the rain on the roof, I love thunder and lighting, I love the puddles the next day, and all the rainbows left over.Â
What I hate is the rain itself. As a ghost, I cannot physically feel things. I can touch things and pick things up, but I can't tell you if they're rough or smooth, hot or cold, nothing. And it doesn't usually bother me, because I don't remember what things feel like in the first place.Â
However, for some reason, I remember what rain feels like on my skin. So it's actually quite unsettling to go outside, remember what something feels like, and feel nothing at all as it happens. An older ghost once told me that the things we remember feeling are the last things we felt as we died. It must have been raining when I died then. Another reason not to like it. Â
Anyways, that's why I hate rain. I hope you guys are having fun on this dreary day!
How is the garden going?
I just realized, I haven't updated this thing in like a week. That's really bad. Sometimes days just blur together for me, so sorry about that!
Anyways, the garden is going pretty well, I think. Little sprouts of everything are starting to pop up. They're actually pretty cute, to be honest. Most baby things are cute, and plants are no exception!Â
Anyways, hope that answers your question!
