Some see us together, they see that we are very diffrent... We are in love, that's all that should really count.

The first time I watched you sleep, I wished with all my might that our future children would pout the same way as you and even tremble their lower lip ever so slightly just as you did that lazy afternoon. I could have admired you for hours dreaming of our future, how beautiful you would look running around with our kids. The vision of you holding a bundle, eyes full of awe, a glorious father I know one day you will be. But, the door bell was ringing our Tai food was here, your awake again, and my dreaming had to wait...

We are surrounded by darkness, the only light comes from the occasional cars passing by. "I know I'm hurting you." He tells me softly. I want to deny it, assure him that's not the case, but if I do this than I will be lieing. In the other hand I don't want him to worry about me, so I begin to shake my head. "Baby" he says firmly and I recoil; a broken thing in front of him. He notices my eyes wide with tears, "Don't say I'm not hurting you because I am," he says a sad smile adorns his face, "that's why I didn't want a girlfriend..." "You don't hurt me because you want to!" I cry, his words wounding me, "You don't want to leave me, do you?" He touches my face catching my tears with his finger tips"No baby, I don't but I need to go for a little while, its my job." "Exactly, its your job and I know you don't want to leave, I understand. I'll support you every step of the way. And at this point I don't want anyone else, I love you, there will always be you and no one else!" "I know," he whispers, "even if we weren't to stay together, you'll always be important to me and I will always be here for you. But, I love you, more than you know. You really don't know how much I love you, I want you to be my wife, the mother of our children. And the fact that you still want me despite the circumstances surounding my work, fills me with security and makes more certain that I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Without another word I wrap my arms around him and begin to sob. He sooths me with his words holding me close. It's hard when you know your man will leave again after a few days of seeing him. But, this love is far too great; I can't be without him, I will wait because I know he's working hard for the both of us. In return I will also work hard so we can both grow and provide for one another. Knowing that we are willing to remain together despite the temporary distance makes us stronger, makes us appreciate the time we have together, and it brings us closer to the future we want to have, together. If we love eachother and are happy with one another; why be apart?

I hold the phone tightly, “I miss you” I whisper softly. “I know baby, I miss you too.” His voice is low, but he can’t hide his emition. “I know” Its been months since I last tasted his mouth and though I talk to him or text him everyday, I miss the warmth his embrace gives me. “But, you know that this job won’t last forever. And I’m doing this for us, for our future…” he trails off. “I understand, I’m so proud of you.” I say soothingly, knowing my words hold true. “Soon baby, I’ll be home.” He assures me. I can’t help smile, “I’ll wait for you.” People say long distance relationships don’t work, they are a hassle, and are only a disaster ready to happen. I in the other hand believe that my love is far greater than the miles between us. Distance is tempory and I love him, we can speak of nothing and everything. Of the future we want for ourselves and for the children we plan to have. No one can tell me my love is not valid because I choose him, he is the man I will marry. Our relationship is special and we look past obsticles, at the end of the day it is him that whispers goodnight to me, it is him that comforts me when I need it most and vice versa. I will be loyal, Faithful, As will he, Because true love is worth holding on to, no matter how difficult it may seem to others.

Sometimes he will be moody, Be a little rude. But, as his personality changes, I kiss his cheek gently and run my fingers through his hair. "Do you want to watch some Netflix?" I ask softly, instead of asking him what's wrong. He agrees with a nod. We watch a movie for a while until I hear his voice, "I'm sorry if I was being mean earlier." I kiss his lips, "It's okay baby, I understand if you're moody. " We are both diffrent in our demeanours and how we deal with negative emotions, but we need to be patient with eachother. You must understand that sometimes he will not always be available to you. He might be consumed by work, and unable to send you a goodmorning text or answer yours. But, he will make it up to you, rest assured he will. He might message you late wanting to talk to you, asking if you could bless him with your voice. He loves you don't doubt it. Therefore don't ignore him, when he is trying;instead tell him you had missed him. In return his reply will match your yurning, for he was thinking of you all day. You were his strength while his job was threatening to break him.
