Not at all. He had never been outside of Cyrodiil, but naturally he was curious about his native homeland for a long time, and had learned quite a bit about it through word of mouth. Most of it isn't true. In fact, I made a habit of making Gore an unreliable narrator in many segments. I hated followers that sound like they're just reading the wiki page, I'm not sure if that's because they're afraid of them looking dumb or what, but Gore spouts nonsense and outright lies a lot in an effort to impress the player (he's young.) The word of mouth he's gotten is mostly tall tales, myths, legends and sort of just unreliable.

Lucien doesn't always read the crew to sleep... but as they grow closer and bond and bleed together, it happens more often. Gore almost always hangs on the longest - he can't read (can't read WELL, by now they're all pitching in to help him learn) and hangs on every word. They chat sometimes, Gore will help Lucien remember things with clarity when he's writing letters or scribbling in his journal - Lucien is never in the thick of the fights and Gore can be quite the poet when he recalls the little details, which Lucien LOVES to record in his journals.
