My philosophy is: It’s none of my business what people say of me, and think of me. I am what I am, and I do what I do. I expect nothing, and accept everything. And it makes life so much easier.

I think it’s important to realize you can miss something, but not want it back.

I know that man is capable of great deeds. But if he isn’t capable of great emotion, well, he leaves me cold.

I want to be the person that makes you believe in better times, in better things.

I didn’t fall in love with you. I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open, choosing to take every step along the way. I do believe in fate and destiny, but I also believe we are only fated to do the things that we’d choose anyway. And I’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you.

You keep telling me to be glad for what we had while we had it. That the brightest flame burns quickest. Which means you saw us as a candle. And I saw us as the sun.

i don’t know what my future holds for me, but i’m excited to find out. i just wish you’ll be there, if not for the whole time then just to keep me company half way there. it’s a scary journey, i tell you, to do by oneself.

I’m sure my heart will open up again someday but for now I’ll just sit here, silently missing you.
