"I hope you fight better than you drink," Fenrir was trying to keep a straight face, and it was there until the lycan tipped backwards, falling into another and landing in a heap. It started another fight, and the lythari had to laugh as he stepped over the legs of the passed out lycan to make his way towards the edges of the ring. There were many here, lycans that were either desperate for blood or desperate for the adrenaline that came with it. Lythari were less frequent, "Sköll," he murmured towards the nearest, downing it all in one go and setting the empty cup down. "Are you here to fight or gawk at those who think they're important enough to be called Alpha?"

Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Lifetimes separated their childhood off in the secluded cave of Angrboða's forest turned sanctuary for her children and now. Eons and different identities should have separated them, Fenrir his half-brother thrown away in chains as Sleipnir rebelled from his own destiny. "I should have come for you sooner," the closest thing to apologies or regrets but Ragnarök had always been fated to come about, a Horse could not influence when the time was right. All Herløv had to show for his time within the mortal realm was the distant stampeding of his hooves, a creature who never stayed stagnant for long as he moved with the transitioning world. "Nobody is interested in the gifted horse who refused the All-Father," Herløv smirked at his brother, "But they are plenty interested in the wolf who will swallow the sun." Fenrir's legacy, his fate, his destiny would follow him wherever the lythari wandered.
"And what would you have done?" Fenrir was all sharp teeth and attitude, he hardly held a world back. The lythari was more than willing to let things slide – though not really. While he thought he was being benevolent, he was simply enacting revenge. They never should've put him away; perhaps they should've put them down. Either way, he grinned at his brother, pulling him into an aggressive hug. Everything he did was mildly aggressive, his social skills weren't the best. "So you've missed me. What have you been doing? I need to know more about this place."

happy 20th anniversary to this scene and this scene only

"I thought I might find you here." The lythari was no stranger to Morgan but the council that held domain over the protection of the fey forest certainly were. Whatever extension of allied defense the elves had discovered within the lycans left a bitter taste in her mouth. However long ago the elven race had tainted her outlook , some things simply couldn't be erased. "The officials of this pack, do you know them?" Regardless, Morgan could easily have traversed the astral sea and yet to be seen as a stranger among them felt misplaced. Morgana thought to be a stranger to none, and an enigma to many. "Wolves at the gate," they almost state amid a breathless laugh, - the eons had seen many changes. "I thought it might have been another of your myths, Fen."
Fenrir had traveled the Otherworld for a while before he'd made his way into this realm. Morgana was a goddess, one he'd met within his travels, and while his trust of others was so small, fleeting, he had decided that Morgana was okay. Hence why he didn't turn when she arrived, only grinned slightly in response, "I don't know them, yet. They are preparing to choose the next Alpha. I plan on watching. But there are lythari here. I'd like to meet them." He looked at his friend now, "And meet a few Seldarine in the process." Fen had a bone to pick with them.
@sleipnirx Location: Fey Forest
"Things are quiet here. Like they were when we were young." The forest was teeming with supernatural life, lycans howled in the distance, the entrance to the elven court nearby. The forest wasn't barren at times, however, the climate of Rome keeping things alive all times through the year. Angrboða's forest used to be barren in winter, snow coating the floor as the mother of monsters used her magic to create wonders for her children. Fenrir remembered this well, but every one of his memories felt heavy. Like at any time, he could snap as he held on to whatever peace he sought. "You did well for yourself. Hiding amongst mortals."
The dead do not suffer the living to pass. You will suffer me.
