An honor to paint Melian for dear @micelilies. I was asked to depict her with long flowing hair, ethereal grace, and clad in blue or green. I hope I did justice to your vision. Looking forward to more art trades in the future!

Bonus: Míriel and her Favorite Grandson I felt bad about drawing Celegorm on his own, so here he is wearing matching sweaters and knitting with Míriel after a ride together. Now that Míriel has returned, he’s no longer bullied or called Arafinwë’s lost son 😆 It’s clear he takes after his grandmother; both of them are free spirits.

What counsel is he giving? None can say. Yet Caranthir is not buying it, Maglor is living for it, and Curufin is agreeing with it. As ever, Fëanor and his favorite little prince wear matching jewels, naturally.

Since Tolkien gives us little detail about Curufin’s death, I drew this headcanon of mine where he’s killed by Nimloth :3
