Matt was still trembling a little when he entered the bar again. He was certain that some people had noticed that he was gone, but he had even managed to come up with a reason why already. Now all he had to do was making sure he wouldn’t tell anyone anything and would act like he was having fun. The last part wouldn’t be that hard. Elena was safe. And that was the most important thing.
The bar was officially Lydia’s second favourite place to go to after the mall. Everything about this place was beautifully stunning, the music, the lights, how everyone was moving and dancing along to the music. But a familar face came to Lydia’s eyes, the adorable blue eyes and face she had not seen since she had seen him in the girls store. That day she had really actually connected with Matt and ever since then she had longed for the day she saw the boy. She made her way over to Matt and placed her hand on his arm giving it a soft squeeze. “Matt” she said softly.

“Yeah I know, right? It looks like the whole town is right here.” Stiles grinned even wider before putting his arm around Scott and shaking him.”My dear boy, tonight we´re going to party because seriously I need to let out some steam from the studying and the whole supernatural shenanigans, right?” He held out his hand making a sweeping motion in front of them. “Just imagine…” He let go of Scott turning to the club and watching the mass moving on the dancefloor.
“Okay. We´re here. What should be our next step? Should we hit the bar? Do I look like I am 21? I knew I should bring the fake moustache….how do I look? You look great by the way. the jacket totally brings out your eyes…” He let out the word vomit without even taking a breath in before his eyes widened. “Aaand I see an angel…..” He said staring at Lydia that was walking straight to the entrance.

Scott nodded smiling over at his best friend. His confidence started boosting as he realized this was the easiest night to let loose especially with his best bro. He let out a laugh as his best friend shook him “I promise you that I will help you make this night one to remember, plus no one should be letting studying getting in the way and I guess I would want to be getting all of the supernatural problems out of my head, even if it was just for one night” he said. He chuckled watching Stiles’s hand wave as they made it further into the club.
Scott listened to his best friend ramble, it was natural for Stiles to ramble on and on about the randomest things. Lucky for Scott he was able to listen to each and every one of his crazy rambling words. Scott nodded along to his words as they finally stopped when the certain strawberry blonde in the nice blue dress made her way to the two. “It seriously amazes me how you went from third grade onwards trying to get her attention… Without actually walking up and talking to her” Scott said. Doing his best friend a favour he waved his hand over to Lydia gesturing her to come over to the two boys.
Lydia maybe was excited about the new club and making her world famous appearance but there was one thing she really wanted tonight. That was to spend time with the people she cared about, with all the stress of the supernatural bothering her she just needed to let loose. It wouldn't hurt especially if she was surrounded people she trusted to make sure she didn't completely make a fool out of herself.
Seeing Scott and Stiles walk in at the entrance made her heart instantly warm. She was more than glad to see her two favourite boys at one of the hip new clubs in New Orleans. She didn't want to look stupid by inviting herself over to barge in on what looked like a somewhat conversation between the two. But she noticed their two heads turn to her and as she saw Scott’s hand gesture for her to come over. She was more than delighted to walk over to the two “Boys” she said greeting them with a smile.
Opening of the new club in New Orleans? Of course Stiles couldn´t miss that. Even when he was more than sure his dad was probably very closely watching the whole thing he just couldn´t resist. He put on his sexy clubbing clothes consisting of khakis, graphic T-shirt and a plaid shirt, everything three sizes bigger, and yeah, he was prepared to party.
Leaving his jeep behind, it took him some time to get there but he was still early for his meeting with his best friend, He looked around noticing how packed the place seemed to me. Well, he couldn´t miss this night even when probably, no one would want to give him any booze. Laws. Damnit. Scratching his head he looked for anyone familiar but among the mass he couldn´t pick out anyone.
Finally, turning to the entrance he saw his best friend and rushed to him with a grin on his face. “Hey man! Looking great isn´t it?”
A new club in New Orleans had everyone buzzing, apart from Scott. Well he did however feel interested to have a night out with his best friends. He was sure when Stiles had text him to come he couldn’t say no to it. Putting one of his world famous jackets and black jeans he made his way out to the club. As Melissa was driving him over to the club it only hit Scott now about how popular the venue was. People pushing in the line to get in, everyone dressed so nice and party like-and then he saw Stiles. Nicely dressed and standing not to far away from the entrance.
Scott had to promise his mom that he would be safe and no drinking for the night, of course with Stiles around that rule would shortly break. There was no way he would get passed the night without at least having a taste of the new alcohol of the new hip bar. Scott slipped out of his mother’s car waving her off as she drove off into the night for her shift at the hospital. Scott was somewhat glad his mother had a late shift, that way if Scott came home drunk his mother would not be around to notice him. Making his way along to the entrance he waved over to his best friend with a big grin on his face.
As his best friend reached him he nodded and showed a cheerful smile he would only reserve for his friends “sup bro, this place is out of this world. And one hell of a popular place.”
A new club in New Orleans? Of course Lydia was one of the first people to hear about it, she had heard a few people around town speak of a new place opening. As she saw how great it looked she got the word out to anyone on her contact list. Dressed in her dark blue dress she was already inside taking a look for anyone she knew. It was hard to see many faces but she could only hope someone would attempt to come and speak to her, but she enjoyed studying the drink menu they had. Her plan was to start with the small drinks then get to the strong ones, eventually someone would come over and offer to take her home when she was ready. And if she was then she would accept, many of her focuses were just on making sure everyone new Lydia Martin was in a hot new club everyone would be talking about.
Lydia started to see many familiar faces who walked in, whether she knew them personally or she had seen them around town. She was more then excited about hanging out with the friends she saw that walked in. She got up off the barstool and went towards the exit greeting the people she knew that had entered. Reminding them to thank her for the invite, her personality may be kind but her reputation had to stay.
Training betas was not an easy joke, they were all just so unpredictable. Especially during the full moon. Some were passive and obedient, they had the patience to find their inner self and control their transformation. It was easy to handle them, alpha-wise. Some others were uncontrollable and challenging, it was like a constant battle within themselves which led them to lash out and behave disorderly. This particular beta was a wild one, training him was as testing as taming a shark in the sea. And as a result, Derek ended up with a few deep claw marks that tore through his shirt, blood trickling in a few places. Returning back home in the same condition turned a few heads in his direction, much to his annoyance. “I’m fine, it’s okay.” He grunted hastily.
Lydia’s week had been very different so she had already decided to work her way out for another day of shopping. This was now twice in a row she had done this which was odd for her. As she was on her way to the mall she stopped seeing a tattered and torn Derek making his way past her, she stared down at all the blood and claw marks on his shirt. ‘Screw shopping’ she thought to herself as she decided it would be better to follow him. Making her way to his direction she caught up to him “okay let’s pretend you are for a second then huh?” She said pursing her lips together. “But I will ask why you have a now stained and ruined shirt?”
Stiles´ eyes widened when he realized who he just spilled the coffee on. Squinting his eyes and bracing for the slap he grimaced and whished that he would just dissapear into thin air. “Please don´t kill me. I´m too young and pretty to die and there´s Civil War and X-men Apocalpyse coming out this May, I really can´t die just yet. “ He swallowed before realizing that the slap never came and opened his eyes looking at Lydia.
“Um. Hi?” He said lamely. “I´m sorry, you okay?” Sometimes he wished he had superpowers but right now he just wished that the earth would swallow him right then and there. “Uh…let me help you, just a second, I should have some tissues…..” He moved trying to find some talking the whole time.
“It´s a really nice dress…you look really nice even with the coffee stain.” He tried to compliment her but promptly failed. Really Stiles, say something nice would you. Don´t compliment the dress you just ruined you imbecile.
Anyone else Lydia would’ve gone right ahead and slapped. But this was Stiles, she could never be the one to wipe that dorkish guilty look off of his face. Her arms were crossed as she couldn’t help but let out a laugh over his comment about the superheros. “Well I wouldn’t want you to miss that would I?” She asked with a soft smile.
“Hey Stiles, I am fine. Well apart from the hot coffee I am sure my dress will come out nice and easy” she admitted. Lydia wasn’t about to decline Stiles’s attempt to help her get the coffee stain out yet she took a seat in front of him so he didn’t feel... Too bad.
She tilted her head to the side at his compliment to her but shrugged, she was always used to his comments and looks towards her which she was always flattered by. “Thanks... I think? But I prefer to look nice without a coffee stain on a knew dress" she said with a small laugh as she reached over and patted Stiles’s shoulder.

“Mondays. I hate mondays.” Stiles grumbled into his coffee, the third one that day, as he highlighted another important part of the page in front of him. Well, it really looked more like he highligted three quarters of the whole book but Stiles considered almost everything important. He was sitting at his usual café, silently cursing mondays and schools and exams and basically everything that had to do with his poor mood that afternoon, glaring daggers at the book about economy or something connected to that. He had no idea what it was about and it could have been written in mandarin chinese as far as he was concerned.
An hour later, with the same cup of coffee, he was still there reading about antique toilets. Apparently, they were communal. Seriously interesting. He wondered what topics the people sitting there would discuss. Just hanging around the toilets and talking politics with your friends from the patrician club well that sounded weirdly interesting….and Stiles was an expert in weird and interesting.
He was nibbling at the end of his highlighter, absolutely engrossed in his reading as he blindly reached for the cup. However, he didn´t exactly pintpoint the right place he was reaching for and bumped into the cup, sending it flying off the table. He jumped at it, the highligter flying the other way as he tried to save the spilling cup. Without any luck he watched in horror as the cup´s contents reached the person that was just walking by. His knee hit the table making his notebook shake and papers drifting. His limbs all over the place he almost slipped at the wet spot but somehow managed to contain himself. “Uh…” He looked at the person in front of him. “I´m….sorry?” He said after a moment of awkward silence.
Lydia had just done her shopping for the week and was finally ready to have her Frappiccihno before she set off back to her dorm for some last minute studying. It was very normal for Lydia to already be wearing a new dress she had just brought moments before. She felt the need to show it off so that's exactly what she did, it was skin tight so she did in fact look more then amazing in it. In fact she swears she caught people staring as she walked in but of course being Lydia Martin, she always brushed them off and with a slight smirk from her lips she walked up to the counter ordering a nice strawberry Frappiccihno. She loved the idea of the name of the drink since whenever she ordered it she would always say "one strawberry Frappiccihno for this strawberry blonde" which always made the cashier always laugh with delight.
Once her Frappiccihno was ready she grasped it in her hands, as she got walking out to the front door of the cafe. She had managed to drop one of her shopping bags to the floor so she went over to pick it up. Suddenly she felt the hot liquid of a coffee splash over her and she shrieked with shock. "Hot!!" She yelled looking down at the hot coffee stain on her new dress, "this is brand new and cost more then that coffee!" She said as she turned around to give a slap to whoever it was that had spilt coffee on her. But to her surprise she saw Stiles with that awkward guilty look on his face. ".....-Stiles?" She said lowering her hand and tilting her head to the side.

Even After They Are Stepped On...
And So Will I
“Three Out Of Four Voices In My Head Want To Sleep”
It all came down fast to Lydia, the streak of sweat that managed to hit her when she was rolling around in bed. She could never get herself to sleep so easily, but this night was different. Normally if you were sweating you would feel hot… Lydia didn’t, Lydia felt as cold as ice. The more she rolled the more she would get frustrated to herself, she knew she had to be perfectly awake tomorrow. Her mother and her were having a day together, just shopping and all. Lydia knew that it was hard spending time with her mother now that she was in college so this was very valuable time, she even chose to stay at her mothers tonight just to squeeze in more time with her. Recent events had stopped Lydia from being herself, which she could never show around her mother.
“I Hear The Voices In My Head”
Lydia was able to eventually relax as she closed her eyes and fell into a sweet sleep but another part of her had the opposite idea in mind for her. With one breath her eyes flashed open at the speed of light and her mouth opened, not to shout….. But to scream.
The scream shattered the light bulb of the lamp beside her and made the window to her right slightly crack a little. The scream was fierce and violently aggressive, it had made Lydia fully push her body up just to let it all out, and if she was positive she swears she tore a bit of material of her sheet from the bed. Lydia’s first thought wasn’t what the hell had just happened? It was more likely did her mum hear that terrible scream? Lydia counted to a minute and waited for her mother to come barging in worried about the scream that had just come out of her daughters throat. Yet nothing, no footsteps coming up the stairs, no yell to ask if she’s okay, nothing… Nothing at all.
“Deep Inside, Where Nothing’s Fine… I’ve Lost My Mind”
Lydia closed her eyes breathing her slightly swollen throat as she wondered what it meant. The last time Lydia screamed Allison almost got killed, every time Lydia had screamed someone had died or was close to dying. The thought of another person dying or even near death gave Lydia chills. But why would this be happening to her? Why would she be the one person to have this type of supernatural power? She never understood it, everyone else should be considering themselves lucky to Lydia. They all had claws, fangs, powers, wands, they could compel people…. Even Stiles had a way to make it through even though he was just-…. Stiles. But Lydia…. All Lydia had was voices in her head.
Voices that would tell her that someone is about to die or already has.
Voices that made Lydia’s heart stop when she let out a ear bleeding scream.
Voices that made Lydia question if she was even prepared to be put in this mess called supernatural reality
All because of one accident that had made Lydia have to be sitting up in her bed at this night, scared that someone was in danger. Worried that the scream had come later than Lydia needed it to come. She looked over into the mirror that had a slight crack in it from her scream. Her face was tear stained, some left over mascara from the hours before had smeared down her cheeks and there was a slight scene of bags resting under her eyes. Lydia Martin did not look like that, Lydia Martin would not be worrying over a scream that had made her throat red. No, Lydia Martin would brush the feeling off and since Allison or any of the pack weren’t around Lydia had no reason to worry… A lot. Lydia got of her bed and walked to her mirror taking a seat in front of it, she grabbed some of her foundation and applied it to the bottom of her eyes as she hid away the tear stains on her cheeks. Next was her eyes as she dabbed some light eyes shadow just for affect. She left her lips till last applying a nice peach color, there was no way Lydia would be sleeping for the rest of the night. Her goal was to make the most of it, finding a dress easy enough to slip on and she was ready.
“But Beautiful Mosaics Are Made Of Broken Pieces”
Lydia was quite happy her mum had still stayed asleep while she was screaming like a idiot. As Lydia made her way down the stairs to the front door and stepped outside carefully shutting the door just in case her mother would wake (which Lydia found nearly impossible.) She was about to make her way to her car but her feet stayed on the front door mat. A pain ran through Lydia’s head as she again felt herself being pushed out, she couldn’t help herself from another loud scream being fallen from her lips. This time it was louder, more powerful…. More painful.
The scream had pushed Lydia’s back against the door, it was almost too forceful for Lydia to handle. It shocked Lydia so much that she had to close her eyes to finally feel herself breathe. Lydia slid down the door push her hair back with her fingers, she now felt sweat no longer cold. She was frightened of what had just happened, she had never been so breathless that she had to sit down.
“I’m Falling Cause My Heart Stopped Beating”
Lydia was able to open her eyes after a few minutes of her getting her breath back. She let out a gasp of seeing not just the smashed pot plants she had brought her mother for Christmas, but the cracked now shattered window of her car. How the hell was she supposed to explain that to her mother? This wasn’t how she planned to spend the night, in fact she should be sleeping. That’s exactly what she wanted to do right now… But instead of going back to her bed, Lydia thought the idea of sleeping in her car was better. Someone could try and take the car now that it’s window were shattered and there was no way in hell Lydia could let that happen. Lydia made her way to her car opening the front door, getting in, and closing it again. She reclined the seat backwards so she could fully lie down, she wasn’t bothered by how comfortable the seat was or not. She was just bothered by the thought of a confused mother in the morning wondering about, not just why Lydia slept in the car but the shattered and cracked objects in and out of the house. Lydia felt a tear slip into her eyes and made its way down her cheek, she hated this…. She hated her supernatural ability, she wished she could be a normal girl or even be a werewolf like Scott. All of that just seemed so much easier to Lydia, but she knew it wasn’t possible and if she was living in reality she might as well conquer in the Lydia Martin way, putting everyone who crosses her path…. In fear.
She had just fallen on her ass for all the world to see including Lydia Martin. If she wasn’t already friends with Lydia, she’d probably be even more embarrassed. “I’m okay.” Kira dusted herself off as she moved to stand up. “Well now you know my deep dark secret. As graceful as I usually am, I’m also a bit of a klutz.” She deadpanned before laughing softly. It was clearly a joke, but at least she was able to laugh at herself.
Lydia smiled over at her, she was glad her and Kira were good friends since she was able to go over and help her up. She probably would’ve helped the girl anyway but this was much less awkward then it could’ve been. She got back up from helping Kira and nodded “I am sure all of us have that inner klutz trait that we wish no one would ever see, I don’t blame you for falling” she said with a soft laugh leaving her lips.
{ sms to strawberry bae } : i know, i know. it is time for our gossip times~ so tell me, what is going on the miss lydia's life?

{ sms to my huntress bestie }: many, many things starting from me missing you and wondering where you have been. And then there is the constant nagging from Scott about you
“Not that anyone would be looking?? What’s that supposed to mean? I don’t exactly wanna blend in with the wallpaper either, ya know.” She replied, craning her neck as she stood on tiptoes and patted the shirt down. The blonde made a face at her reflection before waltzing back into the adjacent change-room and shutting the door behind her. “Oh yes, Fairy-Godmother Lydia, wave your fashion wand and turn this pumpkin into a cool kid, would ya?” She called out teasingly, before coming out again in her own clothing once more.
“Come, let’s go check out the jeans section so that you can update me on your life along the way.” It’d been a while.
“Oh don’t worry about that, me saying no one would be looking is a good thing. I mean you wouldn’t want everyone staring at your butt would you? I bet you would much rather let people be looking at that beautiful face of yours. But no one likes to be close to a wallpaper so I am glad you came to me for help” Lydia said as she crossed her arms and showed the blonde a smile. She scanned her eyes along the racks of clothes, smiling as she was already putting a few outfits together for Cami in her head. “I like the sound of that, Fairy fashion godmother Lydia sounds more like it. My fashion sense is quite magical I can agree to that but for you I’d do it anyday” she said laughing over at Camille’s comment.
“Of course, my theory of jeans being the one pair of pants you have to worry about is very true” she said with a wink as she made her way over to the jeans/pants area of the store.

Everything looked different at night. Even the shadows had shadows. Kira tried not to let it startle her. It was New Orleans, after all. Her stride grew more confident as she walked through the Quarter taking in everything around her. As she approached a staircase, the raven haired teenager began her descent only to topple over halfway down. So much for being confident.
The daily stroll through the town was always one of Lydia’s things to do so she could flash her way to anyone who walked past. Plus, she really liked to see if any of the new items in the shops that took Lydia’s breath away would be sitting in the window. To her surprise as she looked over seeing Kira, she lifted her arm up to wave over to the girl but she noticed Kira completely falling her way down the steps. Her eyes widened as she quickly made her way over kneeling down and putting a hand on Kira’s shoulder “god, are you okay?”
“I don’t really care much if someone thinks I dress badly,” she retorted, although Cora’s features softened briefly as she met Lydia’s gaze. Following to where she pointed, Cora began to pick up a few articles thoughtlessly, before the other girl’s comment caused her to tense up temporarily. “Just because….” That’s when the beta trailed off, before letting out a sigh that was accompanied by a shrug. “Lost all my stuff in the fire. Then I was trapped for months. Didn’t give me much time to sort out my style.”
“That is how I can tell you are a Hale” Lydia said smiling over at Cora, she was impressed that even having been through everything the Hale did she could somehow manage to find a sense in fashion. Her eyes softened as looking through many of the clothes and running her fingers over the material of a few of the tops she thought might suit Cora. “With a girl who has been through what you have with the fire-I don’t blame you for wanting to catch up with a fashion style” she said patting the brunette on the shoulder.
“No! Someone could use someone to give her a proper fashion talk…” Cami corrected her, glancing down at the flowery shirt in dismay. “What is it on a scale of one to ten? Seven? Six?… It’s the flowers, right? Or is it the length? Does it make my butt look big?”… She swiveled on her heel, glancing at her figure as she tugged the shirt down over her jeans. “Come on! Life should give me a break clothing-wise. It’s been a tough week! Help a girl out here, hm?”
“Even better” Lydia couldn’t help herself from letting out a laugh towards Cami’s responce. Though she did want to find out what was bothering the blonde, she didn’t mind at all giving her a few tips to her one bit. Lydia smiled as she tilted her head listening and breathing in all Camille’s questions so she could find a good responce for all of them. “I am going to go with six and a half, I am sure if you take away a few of the flowers it would look more then beautiful. The length is just going onto perfect and nope, your butt doesn’t look big one bit, not that anyone would be looking or noticing” Lydia laughed patting the blonde’s shoulder. “How about we find you a better pair of jeans and a nice top to go along with it? You’re with Lydia Martin, any fashion problem is one I can solve.”

Rolling her eyes at Lydia’s response, Cora’s own gaze fell among the clothes that filled the shop with a slight scowl. “Does it really matter if it looks good or bad?” She questioned, picking up a random shirt atop a pile. “Clothes are just supposed to cover our bodies. Anyway, Lydia, since you’re such an expert, mind telling me where I can get some things to tie me over? Cheap, preferably.”
Lydia couldn’t help but let out a laugh Cora’s comment yet she smiled over at the wolf. “Some clothes are worth wearing, therefore you’re not named as the one who dresses badly” she said, however she did understand where Cora was coming from so she couldn’t argue. “I guess the fact that you are in a clothes store I will give you credit for that” she said gesturing over to the left where a few of the less expensive clothes sat. “Why the sudden need to shop for clothes if you don’t mind me asking?”
Cami glanced down at the flowery blouse she’d thrown on in the changeroom before strutting her stuff in front of the full-length mirror at the back of the store. “You know, that’s pretty harsh going out to someone who was vampire-dinner two nights ago. Considering there’s no blood on it, I’d say I’m happy.” But another glance at the full-length mirror was beginning to convince her otherwise. Maybe she could use a few tips… And a lot fewer flowers.
Cami’s voice struck Lydia by surprise as her eyes widened when she saw the blonde standing in front of her. She hadn’t seen her since she was introduced to the supernatural world, Lydia missed the blonde more then she knew so she showed Cami a smile. She tilted her head to the side rethinking Camille’s response “looks like someone can use someone to talk to” Lydia said as her smile softened, yet she looked around the shop knowing Camille probably did somehow need tips on clothing. But since Camille looked like she was going through a lot so Lydia would keep that thought to herself, and maybe slide it in as they go.
