Disregard earlier posts, today was good. It started very poorly though. I got a 5 string bass guitar, the required gear to play it properly (save for a strap, amp, or headphones (got audio interface, though, so i only need the strap really)) and then got different food stuff at walmart. Not as big as I was hoping my birthday would be a few years ago, but since renting we've been broke, so this is the best we could do. I kind of think it was a bit overboard for the current budget, though. Hopefully I get the job.
I did absolutely shred my right middle finger playing bass though lmao. Not bleeding, but a whole sheet of skin came off. Ouch. Tips of my left index and middle fingers are numb, especially middle finger. Seems I need to work on callouses, but i suppose this will count toward callouses.
