Seeing Annie still training hardly came as a surprise to him. She seemed to push herself to the limit during every training session, even after. He’d lost count over how many times he’d seen her training when she was supposed to be sleeping or eating. Part of him wondered if she was trying to kill herself with over exercising. He wasn’t one to protest though. Often he’d find himself in the woods continuing with some routines, instead of resting. 

     Insistence, whether it was within Annie’s nature or not, cannot help itself from slipping into her tone at this point. She’s certain the Corporal can keep an eye out for himself, to know when enough was enough, though even if she was almost certain she would have continued training for longer had he not appeared to tell her to take a break she’s practically confident when she says he looks like he needs a break. She narrowed her eyes, watching him, and deciding to avert her gaze for a minute.

Levi halted to a stop and turned sharply on his heel to face her. The neutral, deadpan expression never wavering. “Are you implying that I am unable to judge for myself when I am in need of a break, cadet?” He put emphasis on her ranking. A small prod at the fact he was still her superior. The only person he would willingly take orders from was Erwin, not someone who ranked below him.
