Ludo grinned at the instant recognition from the children. He loved all of his fans, of course he did, he wouldnât have had such a successful career without them. But he always loved the children. The way their little faces lit up as they looked at him - it was adorable as fuck, and sometimes he regretted never bringing up the possibility of children with Rita. Probably better off that way, anyway, given the nature of their relationship. Kids didnât need to grow up around that.
Pulling his attention away from the kids, he grinned at the woman and nodded, âSure, sounds nice. Definitely sounds better than eating alone.â He chuckled, sliding into the seat next to her. âNice to meet you too, Molly - please, call me Ludo, Mr. Bagman is my father.â He laughed again, looking back down to the menu. He was starving after a long day at the office. The food in the lunch room of the Ministry was absolute rubbish, the Leaky had a better selection.
âHow old are your kids?â Ludo asked as he flagged down a waitress, genuinely curious, âAnd their names? Just so I make sure I get their names right on their autographs. Y'know, so when they rub it in your husbands face, they actually have proof.â

âWait until we tell Uncle Sam!!â Bill seemed almost too excited to keep to his seat, making Molly pat his head to remind him they were still having dinner. Excitement would always be welcome, so long as it didnât lead to their feet somehow making their way onto the table. Thankfully, that was only the case when they were home, and Molly was definitely counting her lucky stars that she wasnât seeing them on her own table jumping about.Â
The name Ludo seemed to make her brows furrow a bit. More so once Bill had mentioned Sam. âHuh...â Molly tilted her head, thinking to herself idly, âSam used to go on about a Ludo... He went on about a lot of guys, though.â She shook the thought from her mind, offering a smile as she allowed for the wine to pour a welcoming glass for the newly acquainted stranger.Â
âOh-- Charlie, William and Percival.â Molly pointed to each of the red-headed boys as she named them, âCharlie is currently in his dragon phase, William wants to be a Quidditch player, and Percival wants to do whatever his brothers want to do. So, he wants to play Quidditch with Dragons.â Lucky her, and she only hoped all that interest in Dragons came in handy when he entered Hogwarts.Â
âThe boys love going to games with their Father and with their Uncle. Heâs courtside as a medic, so they are quite spoiled when it comes to him.â She pinched Percivalâs cheeks playfully, which also helped her clean off his face. âSo, Ludo, mind if I be nosy and ask which House you were in while in Hogwarts? Iâm quite partial to Gryffindor, you see.â
