The In$piration

Last year, God told me I was going to fall—and to let it happen. I didn’t understand it then. I had people around me who loved me, but their support—though well-meaning—was unintentionally blocking what God was trying to do in me.

I’ve hurt, and I’ve been hurt. I poured from an empty cup. I gave when I had nothing left. I brought pain when I intended love. But I see it now—God had to strip me to rebuild me.

At the start of this year, I fell—hard. I lost everything: money, my car, relationships, friendships… things I thought were trophies and would help define my accomplishments. But now I ask: Was it really a loss? Or was it the reset I needed to become who I’m meant to be?

In December, God whispered:

“I need you alone, so I can work on you, so you can receive the blessings I’ve been preparing for you.”

Since then, I’ve learned it’s okay to fall. It’s okay to start over.

Now, I’m rebuilding my mind—rewiring it for marriage, money, peace, integrity, leadership, and real love. Not just so I can be a better partner, but because I want to be a better man.

I didn’t grow up seeing love modeled in healthy ways. I didn’t see my mom receive love the way she deserved. My father dated—but I didn’t see what it looked like to love and lead with purpose.

That stops with me.

I’m breaking that generational curse.
