She will indulge me on occasion and playfully tease me about it, it drives me crazy. We have each put on a small amount of relationship weight during our time together. Nothing crazy or life changing. She has never been thin, but is certainly not fat either (especially by my standards). But I have loved and complemented every curve on her body every chance I have gotten. I adore every inch of her.

I want nothing more than for my partner to love her body. I would give the world for her to see herself in the same light that I do. But unfortunately she does not. She has a lifetime of societal pressure that has been telling her that she needs to lose weight. We have our wedding coming up and she wants to look skinny in her wedding dress. She wants to start ozempic to help her do that.

And I am supportive of her decision. Because at the end of the day it is her body and her choice. If this is what would make her happy, then I am all for it. Our love is so much deeper than just her body and what it looks like would never change the love I have for her.

But there is a part of me that would be disappointed. I adore her body just the way it is. And yeah, the perverted side of me would love for her to gain weight not lose it. I’d be overjoyed if my love for her to manifested as an extra 30 pounds on her beautiful body. But I know that is incredibly selfish. I will always be supportive of whatever she wants to take her body.
