Rococo Portrait Gallery

It took a little longer than I had hoped, but it is finally finished: The Rococo Portrait Gallery! My goal was to create a set that could furnish an entire 18th-century palace without a single portrait being repeated. To achieve this, I collected 355 portraits from various European kingdoms and principalities: Size S: 75 portraits Size M: 100 portraits Size L: 100 portraits Size XL: 80 portraits Just a few of the many swatches:

The frederician rococo frames are based on four examples found in the Picture Gallery at Sanssouci. For the portraits themselves, I limited the selection to works dating from ca. 1710 to 1775. Owning portraits of various royals and nobles was by no means unusual. There were many possible reasons for this, including marriage alliances, family connections, diplomatic gifts, or simply a passion for collecting art.

So don't be afraid to mix and match them however you like - Enjoy! :)

Ok, I expected to make more but after 13 new meshes I want to switch to another project.

So here it is :

It's been a long time since I posted anything of my own, so I'll update you all.

Here are some projects I've worked on lately:

I built some houses (some are already available in the gallery) and I might make some more available here too. I'll make dedicated posts for each one, but here are some screenshots for a while.

I've also made some progress on the farmhouse, and I'll make it available here in a few days.

I also worked on this palace that I built 2 years ago, but I never finished the interiors, so I decided to change that. Here are some of the interiors that are already done (but not yet fully furnished).

I also built the exterior of an estate inspired by Chatsworth House.

And lastly, but certainly not least, I had to redo the interiors of the lower dacha. I had a problem with the game save and lost my work on the interior. I couldn't do much, but that's what we have for now. It will be a long project; I'm thinking of making the building without the interiors available in the gallery, in case someone has more patience (and time) than me.

A white and gold versions of the Salon Vert in the private rooms of Empress Eugenie in the Palais des Tuileries (walls, mirror and fireplace) - the paintings of the previous room can be used there too (reduce the size so it fits with the medallions on the walls)

Napoléon private Bedroom in Fontainebleau

I recreate almost all the furniture of this beautiful room in the Chateau de Fontainebleau.

You'll find :

a bed and its canopy

an armchair and a chair

a sofa and its pillow

a firescreen

a carpet (inspired by the real one and I added 13 swatches)

All those are in 5 swatches (the one of the real room and 4 other I created).

I added a dresser (there is none in the real room but I thought it would fit with the furniture).

WIP: Rococo Portrait Gallery

For my next set, I wanted to create fewer items so you won’t have to wait so long for new content! That’s why I’m currently working on 4 picture frames in different sizes. I’ve already finished sculpting two of them. These are from the Picture Gallery in Sanssouci - Frederick II had the gallery built between 1755 and 1764 to display parts of his collection of Italian, French, and Flemish masters. Many of the frames were created specifically for this gallery in the Frederician Rococo style. It is also the oldest surviving princely museum building in Germany, so if you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check it out!

Frederician Rococo Salon

After a long break, I’m excited to share my newest set with you: the Frederician Rococo Salon! It is inspired by the palaces of King Frederick II of Prussia. Rooted in French Rococo, the Frederician Rococo evolved into a distinct style of its own, characterized by a dissolution of lines and a fusion with nature.

The set includes 24 new objects and 14 wall elements:

Frederician Rococo furniture and panelling are combined with decorative objects in the Louis XV style, as well as four rugs from the Savonnerie manufactory.

Throne of Alexander The Third

It is with much pride that the Ministry of the Imperial Court releases the official court portrait of the heir presumptive to the Simperial Russian Throne.

In honour of her Imperial Highness’ upcoming birthday, we mark an end to her childhood and welcome her to an age appropriate to announce her as the heir presumptive.

She now replaces Tsar Ivan VII’s brother, Grand Duke Peter, and shall be next in the line of succession.
