Due to a statewide ban in concern of COVID-19: As of May 17, 2020, I, along with many others in the state of Oregon, have been laid off until further notice. Putting the stress of taking care of yourself and loved ones very seriously. Amongst our community we've noticed high volume of purchase, varying from groceries (mostly non-perishables), medical supplies(primarily cold/fever), substances(of all sorts), paper products, and sanitizers. Not only has this pandemic made most of us tap into our essential survival skills, but reminded many what's truly important within our lives. We find ourselves touching in with family, reminiscing about friends, revisiting hobbies and past projects we've put on the shelf, and simply dusting off gears we forgot grind and turn. I urge us to take this time to reflect on things we've seemed to push aside over time, including ourselves. When was it last that you were given a vacation when not asked? This may be a time of a global crisis, condolences go out to all who will be affected by this virus.
