06 de octubre de 1998. Se publica el álbum llamado “Against”. Es un disco de la banda de thrash metal Sepultura, lanzado después del álbum “Roots”. En él participan artistas externos a la banda. Es el primer álbum con el cantante Derrick Green reemplazando a su anterior vocalista y miembro fundador Max Cavalera que se alejó de la banda en 1997. El álbum aún posee la influencia experimental de su antecesor “Roots” pero esta vez cambió su estilo de un groove metal a un metal alternativo influenciado por el hardcore punk. Este nuevo cambio de estilo no le agradó a muchos fans de Sepultura.
