Lurene forever

You are married to Lucas for 4 years now and the story on how you met him felt like destiny. You worked at an elementary school as a teacher and one day, you brought your cute little students to the park. Suddenly, a bell is ringing, announcing the arrival of the ice cream truck. All your students ran to the ice cream man. You chuckled at the sight of the flustered ice cream man as it was probably his first time serving to 20 energetic children all at once. You find him quite adorable because whenever he gives the ice cream, he also winks. 

Once everyone finally got their ice cream, you hear one of your students crying because she accidently spilled her vanilla ice cream knocking a stranger’s strawberry ice cream as well. You quickly calm her down: “It’s okay, sweetie! We’ll get you a new one, okay?” She nods right away. Then, you look up to the stranger because he was definitely a very tall guy with broad shoulders. He seems a bit intimidating at first, until his eyes meet yours, and he flashes you one of his brightest smiles. “Sir, I’m so sorry for your ice cream, I can buy you another one if you want?”, you ask him. He replies with a smirk on his face: “It’s fine, but in exchange, would you like to go out on a date with me to pay back my ice cream?” Because of this incident, you got yourself a new boyfriend, Lucas. You get to know him better through different dates that he’s not only good-looking but he’s sweet, hard-working, caring, wise and he always makes sure you are loved in many different ways. 

Present day: [12:00 am]

You look at the clock, it is already midnight and your husband is still not home yet because he was too busy at work. You sigh as you waited for him for four hours now and you were getting sleepy. So, you stop reading your book, turn off the lights and go straight to bed. 

[7:47 am]

You were in your cute little school uniform waiting for your boyfriend to pick you up to school. You were quite worried as it was his first time driving a motorcycle and you’ll be late for class if he doesn’t show up ASAP.

You finally see him, but he stopped at least a street away from you and you asked yourself WHY WOULD HE DO THAT? Then you realized, as he was walking towards you in all black, he wanted to show off his charms to you by walking cooly. You first burst out laughing, but you were actually dying because it was too much for you to handle!

“Hey babe, are you ready for a ride?”, Lucas asked you in a very deep voice. You were so dazed that you finally snapped out of reality when you realized you’ll be so late for school! You grabbed his hands and ran towards to his motorcycle: “Lucas!! I’m gonna be late just because you took forever walking like a model! UGH!” He smirked at you: “But you enjoyed it.” You didn’t respond, but your cheeks responded immediately to him with the blushing. 

You both wore your helmets and ready to take off, but as you hug Lucas’ waist, he started to feel ticklish. You hit him lightly: “Stop joking around! I know you’re not ticklish and we’re gonna be late for school!” He laughed even louder, but obeyed you and started his motorcycle. 

When you both arrived at school, all the girls were surrounding you two. Well, actually, they were here for your boyfriend and they were BLOCKING your way. You gave Lucas a few gentle pats on his shoulder. “I’m late to class so good luck with them!”, you said. He looked at you confused and realized you were leaving him with the girls ALONE. He was giving you those sad puppy eyes but you smirked at him and blew him kisses instead. While running to your class, you laughed at the thought of Lucas not being able to escape.

[3:24pm]

You worked part-time at a coffee shop and you were always assigned to the same shift as your friend Mark. He is the cashier and gives you customers’ orders and your job is to prepare the hot drinks and serve them. 

Until one day, your friend Mark has called in sick and you thought your world has ended: “How am I gonna handle all alone. Argh, I’m so gonna die today”. There were still 30 minutes left until your painful shift and a text from MarkyMelon suddenly popped up: 

[3:30] Hey Cutie Bunny!!  [3:30] I’m so sorry for today, BUT!!!  [3:31] I got you covered! My best friend is so nice, he’s gonna help you so don’t you dare worry! 

You jumped in excitement and screamed a dozen times: YES! You texted Mark back: 

[3:33]  OMG! You do not know how relieved I am!  [3:34] Thank you Marky Markyyyyy! And get well soon! 

A few minutes have passed, you heard a knock on the door and you opened to see a tall, well-built and good-looking man. You were in total awe or shock (honestly, you don’t remember anything). He gave you his beautiful and genuine smile and introduced himself: Hi! I’m Lucas and I’m here to help out Mark. 

After some formal introductions, you taught Lucas how to operate the cash register and also showed him the menu. He then asked you how to make coffee. You were flustered and told him: “Learning the cash register and knowing the menu are already enough because you’re just replacing Mark.” However, Lucas insisted and you couldn’t resist his puppy eyes. So you said yes. 

You were nervous and shaking a lot because Lucas kept looking at you and you accidently poured hot water on your hand. Lucas quickly grabbed your hand and turned the tap on for cold water. He then asked you about the first-aid kit and he went to get it right away while you stood there still shaking. 

[12:44am]

You were sleeping peacefully until someone planted a kiss on your cheeks. You couldn’t open your eyes yet but you could tell who it was.

- Babe, wanna come to the rooftop? - I... wanna sleep.  - No! Wake up! I have a surprise for you!!

At the word “surprise”, you jumped out of your bed to see Lucas, wearing a gray hoodie, ready to go out. He didn’t mind your outfit and just grabbed your hands to go to the rooftop.

Once you’re up, there was no surprise and you felt betrayed. You started to feel upset and wanted to go back to sleep, but Lucas didn’t let you. He offered you one of his earphones and invited you to lay down with him on a wooden surface. He played Strawberries and Cigarettes by Troye Sivan and you both just stared at the night sky while holding hands.
