One thing I really appreciate about Kaveh's design is how big his eyes are. The bigger eyes and defined lower lashes really help sell his androgyny.

The red-orange gradient compliments his overall design nicely, especially the blond hair. Part of me wonders if there were plans to add green accents at any point, as a nod to his dendro vision and to mirror Alhaitham's heterochromia.
Anyway, my favourite detail is the white (?) pupil highlight in the center of his eyes, it makes him look really alive and alert. It also gives him more of a feline-esque look; elegant and powerful. (between the mane-like hair and his eyes, the lion imagery is undeniable)

His eyes look different in a few of his earlier artworks. There's a little less detail so the gradient really stands out.
I'm not sure why that's the case tbh, maybe it's because they're full body shots and the artists couldn't fit it all in. Or maybe because they were drawn at different times during his development, It's hard to say. I also feel like he looks daintier here, like his eyes are really big and they've given him a clear heart-shaped face and slender body- features which he still has but less prominent in later works.
I'm gonna be honest at first I thought Kaveh's design was mid but then I learned more about his personality from this ONE EVENT (I forgot the name but it was a Sumeru event from a long time ago at this point) and he became one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Genshin characters EVER and I love his design now. I LOVE the red cape thingy and the overall outfit has similar vibes and color scheme to Howl (Howl's Moving Castle)
Also The song Writing on the Wall by Will Stetson made me love him EVEN MORE OMG!!!!
