lasssstt post for the day about my cleaning up situation, I posted 2 other posts about this earlier go read those this is an update
I came into this with no actual reason, and I had no reason to post about it on Tumblr but I feel like it would be nice to document it just like that one scene where Iron Man writes a message in space in Avengers Endgame
im currently cleaning out the last thing I had planned, my social media... lord have mercy I dreaded this because I knew the worst of the worst would be on here..! Instagram, snapchat, Tumblr yeah okay I didnt need to do much, most of these apps felt like a preparation for Junior year because I do want to post about stuff seriously on those social media apps and hopefully reach out to others while im at it
I've been meaning to also use Tumblr a bit more seriously... as im going to be honest the only reason I was on here was to post stupid little images with stupid little captions and to like all of my friends posts because im a silly cheerleader... who knows maybe at 3 am ill send a silly image and write some random ass caption tonight and nobody will suspect it (I will be sleeping snug as a bug dont actually expect anything)
but I think the worst part definitely has to be discord, I've had discord since I was in the 5th grade... long story short looking through it was a mess
I currently have 300+ people friended on discord. I dont talk to any of these people except for like 4 people, I've been meaning to clean up my discord as I've had many online friends which I used to talk to for years on this app. I still have them added but honestly I think id rather just unfriend them and continue on with my life
most of the people I have added were people from sunnyside asking me a question and friending me in the process, which was okay when sunnyside center had a fanbase of maybe like 3 people but the second it started reaching the thousands yeah um please no
A close friend I've had for about 5 years also stopped being friends with me recently, there was no hostility or anything and everything ended in good terms. I've been asked by like an other friend "why havnt you cared about that" and honestly i do care but because I knew it would happen eventually it wasnt bad. They were one year older than me so they would be a senior this August and we'd go on long talks and basically said that they wanted to start their life and move on from social media soon which I understand so that explains that question
but all of this has me thinking that... maybe in the future I should probably do too... and no that does not mean you guys should expect me unfriending all of you soon HELP I LOWKEY just think that since im basically almost halfway done with highschool I should really need to start thinking about what to do in the future because I do get a bit anxious thinking it anywhoo
For the next few days im basically just going to be unfriending people who aren't my school friends, the tiny group of online friends I talk to, or people associated with sunnyside center development. if your a friend of mine who randomly wondered why I unfriended you (which would be impossible as I havnt talked to anybody else outside from those 3 groups of people in like months) then this post basically explains why
This entire post is basically me documenting my thoughts, my fault if its really long oooopsie daisy. I am currently writing this in bed as I currently have my acne medication marinating on my face for like 40 minutes (which obviously works from the past like months I've been using it)
by the time this week ends on April whatever day it'd be, i will feel a bit more .. I dont know the word
Its basically a month or 2 until summer break, so its smooth sailing until then. I dont have any major plans for the summer except be employed with a friend at the same place because i will have a JOB and basically build up my confidence and media profile for Junior year. I have a doctors appointment this weekend for my acne and I do plan on changing my hair style this summer (but I probably will have a bowl cut until summer as I will get a haircut this weekend sadly π) I also want to get more in shape because who doesn't want to!
I have plans and I will try to achieve them, sorry if this LONG SCARY POST scares anybody oops..!
