           “ do you think animals in the ocean realize how big their home is ? ” his brows are raised , a burnt out joint hanging between his fingertips. it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for him to make absolutely no sense , but his expression is serious. “ like imagine sharing your home with billions of other humans. that’d really suck , right ? ”

          a  faint  ‘ fuck ’  managed  to  escape  their  lips,  the  cigarette  hanging  loosely  at  the  corner  of  their  mouth.  hands  fumbled  around  their  pockets  for  a  lighter,  but  the  missing  bump  in  their  jeans  seem  to  have  caught  them  off  guard.  of  course,  they  could  only  blame  themselves —  no  better  way  to  start  the  morning  than  without  a  good  smoke.  the brunette  stood  on  the  sidewalk  lazily  until  they  spoke  to  the  first  person  they  saw  within  earshot.  “  hey  –  i  know  this  might  sound  weird,  but  d'you  think  you  have  a  lighter on  you  by  chance  ?   i  got  no  clue  where  mine  is.  ”

CRUZ: oh. you're right.

CRUZ: lil tube sweaters.... lil fuzzy tube sweaters..... yes.

LUNA: oh you know what...that actually kinda slaps

LUNA: makes me wanna get some fuzzy tube sweaters for myself...

CRUZ : they're loose?!

leaning back on her elbows on the quad, esther tilted her head to the side and nodded toward a building on the other side of the green, “d’you think that building’s haunted?” she kept going, “it looks old. so almost 100% haunted!” she had clearly already come to her conclusion, but she looked over, still wanting the opinion of the person beside her. 

“which shade of red?” she questioned the other as she held out two almost identical lipstick tubes. the only difference? one was named ‘scarlet’ and the other ‘ruby’.

—  THEIR string  had broken in the middle of a gig, so zeke was already not doing the best. they sat on the stage stairs, mostly in shadows as they struggled to try and get the broken string out and put a new one in. they glanced up to see one of the squad members sitting at a table seemingly alone. “shit night for both of us, huh?”

starter ; OPEN⎯⎯ at smithie’s cafe.

     dark locks are tied haphazardly into a bun on top of his head and his eyes are tinged red as he sits on one of the tables ( because obviously he can’t sit on an actual chair ) outside smithies cafe. “no, but hear me out,” he says, eyes widening dramatically. “what if i get a tattoo of⎯⎯ wait for it⎯⎯” he trails off, wanting to build as much suspense as possible. “a skeleton. BUT it’s dabbing. i think it’s a revolutionary idea.”
