I probably sound like a broken record at this point but I'm thinking there's a 97% chance I'm serious about deleting my social media accounts. things have been really hard lately, I'm doing my best to keep my depression and anxiety at bay but as each day passes it seems that more and more seeps into my life. today I received some heartbreaking news about a family member and it sent me in a serious downward spiral, and just. I need a break. I really, really, really need a break from everything. life is busy and complicated and confusing and I am not sure how much longer i can keep this up. I've cried so much today I'm pretty sure I dehydrated myself. I took naps between cries so I'd have more energy to cry again. like. this isn't healthy or normal and I know that but I'm not sure what I can do anymore to help myself. this is way more serious than just treating myself to some "tender self care" and I'm not sure what to do about it. but I know social media contributes a lot to my negative moods so I really need to cut that out of my life for a while. I'm thinking just until the semester is out and then I'll reevaluate how I'm doing and see if I want to start them up again or not.
