boomcrashâ:
Harper stared at the kid. Why did this dumbass talk this much? No one asked him to. âOkay,â Harper said, âWe wonât fight. I donât have time for this. So, Iâve decided youâre going to be too busy.â After Harper said that, he walked right up to Charlie and pressed his hands against Charlieâs chest. Without much hesitation, Harper activated his abilities, letting the thin layer of sweat come out and then in a flash, he let the heat build up before a small explosion came undone. Small enough to be unnoticed, but strong enough to send Charlie backwards. âDumbass,â Harper muttered.
âHow can you decide that Iâm going to get to bu--,â Charlie couldnât even finish his last word before Harper shot an explosion at him. He didnât even have time to react before he felt himself forced through the air and then, he fell into the center of the crowd. Charlie scrambled up - he was clumsy and he knew this, but he was struggling to get up. When he finally forced himself up, he looked around and then tried to figure out how to explain this away to the agents that were now approaching him. He gasped and pointed toward Harperâs direction, but not at him, âThe person who shot me! Heâs running over that way! You should catch him. Heâs dangerous!â He didnât point out Harper, but he knew that they were going to run through his direction; that guy was going to be late to whatever the hell he was going to.
