"I'm back," Lennon jolted in her seat from where she had been hunched over the coffee table, having momentarily astral projected only to now return to her slumped-over form. "So, they weren't lying when they said they didn't have any more cookies in the back, but it looks like the Pie Hole just put in a fresh batch if we want to head there after this. And relax, dude. We're just getting coffee. It's not like it's a date," Len reasoned with an eased shrug as she took a swig of her coffee cup, only to make a face when she realized it had gone cold.
Eyes roll automatically, if not still affectionately. "Oh, God forbid I try an' show some vulnerability an' appreciation. My mistake." Felicity eases back into her chair, relaxing into the casual company she's long missed from the woman before her. Talking about feelings had never really been their thing, not when Zuva and Rae Elle had been around.
Without a word she reaches out to pluck the coffee from Len's unsuspecting grasp, cupping it between her own hands as she concentrates on seeping warmth back into the drink. It's an almost an embarrassingly feeble attempt, her body so unused to Light, but she still manages to revive the coffee enough to be casually enjoyed. With a sigh, she hands it back. "There. An' sure, we can swing by. I could do with'a sweet treat."
