Lilia’s been sneaking around lately, and for the life of you, you couldn't understand why. You knew he was planning something for your birthday, but what? Tired, you decided to head to bed for the night. 

Next Morning…

You woke up to a knock at your door. Getting out of bed with a huff, you decide to trudge downstairs and open the door. Annoyed at the early intrusion, you swing the door open, surprised to see the face on the other side. 

“Fufufu…I didn't wake you up, did I? I'm sorry, my dearest, but I just couldn't wait!”

Lilia’s voice is cheery despite the early hour, and his smile greets you warmly. Despite his surprise arrival, you notice a wrapped box behind his back. Curious, you peek your head out, trying to see around him.

“Lilia? What do you have?”

You continue to crane your neck out, trying to see the box. Lilia chuckles softly, gently handing you the beautifully wrapped box. Surprised, you gently unwrap the box, inside is a beautiful silver and pink necklace, your initials sparkling in the morning light. 

“Do you like it, my dearest? I had the finest jeweller in Briar Valley make it for you.”

You tear up slightly, listening to Lilia’s words as you admire the necklace. Despite your initial shock, you manage to reel your emotions in. 

“Oh, Lilia… It's beautiful.”

You smile softly, leaning forward and giving him a soft kiss on the cheek.

“Fufufu.. I'm glad you appreciate it, my dearest…it shines almost as beautifully as you d..”

End of the week/ your birthday

This entire week, Lilias has been showering you with the grandest of gifts, from a brand new dress to the most precious of gems. Today, he's told you he has a surprise for you.

That's how you've ended up here, blindfolded as he leads you somewhere. 

“Lilia? Where are you taking me, my dearest?”

You chuckle softly as he continues to lead you. His hands are soft against your waist as he stands behind you, his soft breath sending slight chills down your spine. 

“Shhh, my dearest, we’re almost there.”

Eventually, you stop, he's soft hands gently removing the blindfold from your face. The view before you is breathtaking. A picnic set up in a small section of the enchanted forest, with a small pond in the background. The soft sounds of the forest and water surround you, creating a tranquil scene. Even more presents sit atop the picnic blanket, jewels shining softly. 

- Teases relentlessly, pops out of nowhere and actively cackles at your reaction

“Fufufu…did I scare you my dearest?”

- Common sense to never let this man in the kitchen right? He may not be able to cook but he can make an amazing cup of tea

- Cuddler, you cannot tell me this man isn’t attached to his lovers hip. Doesn’t matter what’s going on, especially if they’re taller than him…

- family man, I mean come on? He’s raised three kids on his own of course he’s a family man

- All jokes aside, he’s very comforting, bad day? He’ll give you plenty of kisses

- Very protective, very much who did this to you vibes. I mean he’s an ex general

- Loves reading for you, just like he did when silver was a kid, he loves reading his partner stories
