But a sword's edge would not graze her by a hair's breadth but a brisk, cheeky peck. Stoking the flames higher and to get burned by them is what he desired. And yet the means were of deep ventilation; a genuine breath of satelliting compulsions to spark embers.

He drew back some, with a vulpine curve to his lips that could ruffle anyone's feathers, to peek. Together they were oddly still in short moments proceeding. Perhaps those seconds had been prolonged in solitude, to savor the transitory impression of her cheek to his lips and to muse his eyes over her. Next time she's using electro on him. Maybe she can match his speed. Try to. She's still not as fast as she once was. Still not as strong. But sparring with Childe made her feel she was grasping to that celestial power more and more each day. What kind of fight would that bring forth? Who would win? If she remains embarrassed by this slip up in the match, she won't be able to focus. It's his fault. He was the one who started it. Lumine, like she always willed, would then be the one to end it.

A hand cups his face, gently, expression unreadably gently, an air of graced refine. Golden eyes softly scan his face, holding his gaze quietly. Eyes like the ocean abyss; even in it's pits, she finds a peculiar solace in his stare. But it disappears when eyes flutter close, and she presses forward with a muted kiss. Her heart flutters.
