Viento de Verano

Phew! Got some well-earned rest today. Now I'm on my way for even more rest, both tonight and tomorrow.

I need some rest. Today was long but super satisfying. I like having different jobs, as it keeps things interesting and different. But boy do I need some rest.

Sweet Jesus, man. Today I discovered a subreddit similar in nature to the old r/watchpeopledie. This one is not necessarily about death but it does feature quite a lot of it. It's 'advertised' as a learning subreddit, since you do in fact learn a lot about safety precautions, and I think there is some value in that. But God, some of the videos I've seen today are just beyond horrifying. That said, I think that if they showed these videos as part of your driving test, many people would take safety much more seriously.

Wow, super tired for some reason. Lots to do but I honestly need to just rest. That'll be the best way of getting ready for tomorrow I guess.

Long day of work and news and administrative tasks! Can't wait to relax a bit and go to bed.

Time to prepare for dinner, then bed, and then a new day!

Did a few administrative things today and took care of the house together with Matt. Super happy that we can work as a team, I feel truly lucky being with him. <3

Wishing the weekend had an extra day! We relaxed and used the day for cleaning the house a bit, since we hadn't done it in some time and I felt it was kind of affecting my mood. Now it all feels a bit better, so we might continue tomorrow.

Magnus was so cuddly today. It makes me think he's happy with his new life, and for that I am super grateful. It brings me so much joy to make him feel safe and content.

Super mega tired. Staying up late last night was worth it because I could focus on my Japanese homework but today I need to get some rest as soon as possible. So, off I'll go!

After some hesitation I decided to show my younger teens the beginning of Earthlings and do some activities related to it, since we're studying the animals unit in their book but it's just horrible. English books seem to be making progress in some areas but Jesus do they fall behind when it comes to animal rights. Might as well be preaching blood sports, what with their love for zoos, aquariums and keeping 'unusual' pets. Good grief.

The internet connection at home doesn't seem to be working all that well. I hope it doesn't affect tomorrow's online lessons but I think I'll only find out when I start teaching, so let's hope it's better by then.

I was really enjoying this long weekend but I suppose it's now time to accept going back to work tomorrow. Not even dreading it, I just wanted some more me-time. Oh well, better get plenty of rest so I can be ready for tomorrow then!

Shit man I just finished watching Sirāt and I'm in shock. It had been ages since a film made me feel this anguished. 10/10 let's not watch it again for a lifetime or two.

Half Man keeps getting wilder and wilder. Can't wait for the finale!

Just finished Satan in Goray. What a strange book, but also it was quite engaging. Looking forward to reading more by Singer.
