“   …..Before you begin, would you prefer coffee, tea, or the usual?   ”

“   …..This may sound a bit silly, but….Have you considered stress relief? Taking it out on Grimm or perhaps some training bots? I would recommend someone, but I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to cover their medical bill…   ”

“I had tried some methods like that, but not on Grimm or bots or anyone. Can’t say the trees liked what I did. But maybe some bots would help. Take my mind off things, that’s for sure.”

“   I see....well, I must say that I’d be quite interested to see the aftermath of such,   ” a chuckle from him, typing away at his scroll, “   but I’ll have that arranged shortly. Later in the day, when everyone has settled down, you may use the training facility to your leisure. Just be sure to keep collateral to a minimal. You know how Ms. Goodwitch can be....   ”

“   If I may, please understand that while I may appear and behave differently from before….I am still Ozpin…..To a degree, I suppose.   ”

“No worries, I know about this whole stuff myself, but hearing it being mentioned by someone of the past is always good.” Yeah she didn’t deny that whole stuff, but neither did she deny him being powerful either. “I’m curious though, where did this Alter stuff come from? I remember some Heroic Spirits having an Altered version of themselves. Do you mean to tell me that you’re recognized as a Heroic Spirit by the Grail?”

“   However, that would be one way to look at it, no? I suppose we could go with that theory for the time being.   ”

“Still that does bring up the question, neither of us are from the ‘original’ timeline, are we? You’re some kinda Alter and I’m a Ruby that ain’t even Human.”

“   That relies on a number of variables. The short answer would be; no. To many, I would still be Ozpin, and you would be Ruby. However, in reality, that simply just isn’t the case. As you said yourself, you’re Ruby, but you’re not. The real Ruby could still very well be out there, or, you are the real Ruby. One who has ascended so far beyond mortal comprehension....and you ended up here. It’s how you view it, taken everything into consideration and lay out the pieces.   ”

Qrow nodded and looked to the man, taking a sip of his coffee. The corner of his mouth twitched at the taste and he reached for the sugar. “Yeah, I have tried everything I could think of…but nothing worked.”

“   Run me by a list of everything you have attempted so far. Knowing this, I can attempt to pose some ample suggestions. In the meantime, outside disturbances will be put to minimal for now.   ”

“   While I do find it admirable that you would still refer to me as your Professor, that no longer applies I’m afraid. Though, as I previously mentioned, the latter is still up to address me by.   ”

As much as I would like to not say it….It doesn’t seem to have led you stray before…If it brings you at ease, I will keep an eye out for any….anomalies that may prove to be out of the ordinary. Though, that only brings me to question; what brought this on? Or does this sort of phenomenon just ‘happen’?   ”

“That’s the thing, Oz…I’m not entirely sure. I just woke up the other day and it was there. I’ve had my head on a swivel ever since. It’s just…I think it’s been a while since the last time we saw a large scale attack and…I think I’m just paranoid is all.”

“   .....I can only assume that you’ve already went through some personal measures to try and alleviate the issue?   ”
