gshade devs did not put malware into gshade that can restart your pc upon using the program. gshade devs did not put malware on your system.

what the gshade devs did was put an anti-tampering code into the program, that is completely harmless. similar to overwatch/fortnite/valorant and their anti-cheat systems.

all the program will do is actually trigger a restart if you have gotten gshade from anywhere other than their site, and the program/code been tampered with from that source.

Look, I love y'all. I know you don't want to participate in so-called "drama" because you think it's messy and shit. I get that, I do. But here's the deal. Cowbuild and her cronies are making the whole patreon method of dealing with the sims look bad, and that affects YOU guys too.

Because of these bad apples, there are some people questioning if patreon is safe. Especially because Anto is involved, and he USED TO BE EARLY ACCESS.

Some of this is solely focused around NVIDIA GPUs, but AMD can use most of these too!

Some of these suggestions are probably on the more advanced side.

If you prefer to edit your own GraphicsRules: Sim Quality, Shadows, Remove Bloom, Texture Memory (Step 7. There’s a lot of other good performance settings/fixes in there too!).

Change your NVIDIA GPU settings using NVIDIA inspector.

Reshade. Most of my favorite presets are all by @pictureamoebae. I am currently using Thatched. You can see a preview of me using it in TS3 here. You can also find more reshade presets here, or here.

If you have an RTX NVIDIA GPU (20 series / 30 series) you can try out DLDSR. Direct link to the settings image found in this post. Here is a video by Linus explaining what it is. You may have to update your drivers to take advantage of this as it was only recently released back in January.

I’ve done this before but it’s been a while, as many of you know, my mother suffers from Lichen Sclerosus which is a very expensive disease to have since none of the medications for it is covered by insurance. My project to reconstruct base sims 3 faces is now getting an official name, ReFace. I’ve had setbacks with it for a while, but now I’m back on it, I’ve finished all female faces, children and toddlers. All I have left is male faces which should be finished soon. Teenager:
