Some screenshots of plots I’ve made for my old guild’s rp events. The storyline was about gathering old eldan relics that possessed the soul of the scions. (I know that doesn’t make sense lore-wise, but I forgot how we made it work out.)

1-25-19 Color Commission

As part of my research into the day to day life of our Eldan Creators, I have come across something… unusual.

As all Dominion citizens know, Mechari have different standards of modesty than most organics. Many of us, such as the venerated Axis Pheydra and Agent Lex, frequently go without any clothing at all. Clothing is something our race has adopted in response to exposure to Cassian social norms.

It has typically been assumed that Mechari Nudity was a utilitarian matter. We have “nothing to hide” so to speak. 

However… what if this wasn’t a matter of utilitarianism? What if it was a deliberate cultural choice? No samples of Eldan clothing have been found… only armor. It’s possible their clothing did not survive [REDACTED], but look at the two examples of the Eldan form we have found.

The Caretaker, who appears to be based on an Eldan male (judging by his similarity to our Luminai rulers) wears only a hood. His torso remains completely uncovered, and his lower half remains… well… non-existent. 

The being known as Drusera is slightly more clothed, wearing a long flowing robe and… nothing else.

…We have never found any signs of Eldan Trousers. We have never found any signs of Eldan underwear. We have never found signs of funny Eldan hats with funny Eldan propellers.

Ladies and gentlemen of the Dominion… I’ve looked deeply into the subject of Eldan clothing, and I’ve come to a disturbing conclusion. While our creators were performing their feats of scientific prowess… they were not wearing pants. 

It’s hoods. It’s… it’s just hoods…
