I don’t think I can bring anyone. I’m sure they’re trying to get me talking to some rich senator’s son anyways. Would be weird if I showed with a date. And no, not mafia. Just bigoted American senators. I’m sure someone could pull a comparison out of that though.

I.. No, not really… I mean, yes, sort of, and I probably should, but I just.. It’s complicated. I haven’t even told Daisy yet… I- *sighs* Sorry.. Um.. Okay… Basically, my parents called, they want me to come home next weekend for a “do” that they’ve set up with some other prominent people. Really, uhhh… “important” people, or so they say, and I just.. I can’t fucking stand them. Every ounce of my being doesn’t want to go home, but I know I’m going to go anyway, cause I don’t want to disappoint them, and.. ugh.. *slumps* Sorry, I shouldn’t ramble. I don’t want to burden you with my problems. Honestly, they’re not even that bad. I’m just fed up.

I don’t know your parents and I get the whole not wanting to disappoint them thing. But are you sure you have to go back? Maybe you could make up some reason for why you can’t go? Or, are you allowed to take someone with you? Have like backup in a difficult situation. Like Daisy. She’s so sweet, no one could be terrible around her. Also, it really sounds like it’s gonna be some sort of mafia boss meeting... But that’s just my imagination... Right?
