The R7s rod is connected directly to 230V. The flashlight is mostly used in spotlights or floodlights with high output for high luminosity. R7s LED or RX7s often replace the halogen rod with their low consumption. Currently (as of mid-2018), a halogen flashlight up to 100W can be replaced. Therefore, the halogen rod is still available for versions from 150W. Due to its design, the R7s LED flashlight is often wider than the halogen rod, which is why it no longer fits under the heat protection in some sockets. However, this can be omitted when installing LED lamps due to the low heat development. In some cases, halogen rods are also specified with the contact spacing on R7s. 74.9 mm corresponds to a length of 78 mm and 114.2 mm correspond to 118 mm from our range.
